Devil Survivor RP

Yeah that's what I did while I was coming up with my characters. Anyways here they are:

Name: Ty Hirata
Age: 17
Appearance: Large almost 7ft tall, heavyset, not too muscular, short black hair, a light tan, has a blank stare(think Osaka from Azumanga), but is quick to smile
Personality: Very friendly but often lost in thought, Ty is your typical gentle giant. He cares deeply for his little sister, though she is often more responsible than he is and he is often being reminded by her to do things. Doesn't talk much, unless it is very important or if he is answering his sister. The crisis causes him to develop a stronger sense of responsibility and attentiveness, especially in regards to his sister.
Demons: Erthys and Aquans

Name: Mia Hirata
Age: 12
Appearance: Long black hair, petite, lighter skinned than brother, cheerful bright expression, rides on her brother's shoulders often
Personality: A very bright and warm-hearted little girl, Mia often acts the older sibling to her absent minded brother. Although she tells him what to do she never uses a scolding tone and instead is very encouraging and uplifting. This unending patience only extends to her brother however, and though kind and polite to everyone she will point out the mistakes of others and eventually loses her patience with repeated offenses. The lockdown has reminded Mia that despite her relative maturity she is a child, and as the stress continues she will lose her patience more and more often, even taking it out on her brother.
Demons: Aeros and Flaemis

Mia's probly the primary and Ty the secondary character, cuz he's quiet. If its more convienient I don't mind making them NPCs. If I have to declare Hero/Villian or something these two seem ranged more Good to Neutral, but if some villian guy offers them a way out I guess they could allign themselves that way for self-preservation or if theres some other role that needs filling I could change the characters.

Alright, I think here's the deal:

It's going to take place during the same time as the lockdown in Japan. It makes sense that the world's fate is left up to not only Japan after all. However, as to not screw up continuity with the game, we will be pursuing a different goal, that will be kept secret from the masses, and will be revealed as the main cast pursues the reality.

The setting will be in Chicago. Cause I felt that was a cool place to do it in. Plus Jazz musicians. It's also a heavily populated city, and filled with corruption and plenty of buildings to explode and such.

So we just need JAMES to post his characters, and then we can get started.

What'll battles be like? I don't wanna hold things back so is there something I should read? I get the basics of the turn based squad system, but if im gonna shout an attack is there a spells list or something? Are we following things like HP and stats or is it more free form? Either way I dont know what to say except "Demon use your fire attack!" or something relatively lame.

I think it's gonna be more free form. As far as spells go, they're generally the same spells as any other shin megami tensei game.

First character.

Name: Cassandra "CC" Crawford
Age: 18
Appearance: Average build with long blond hair and green eyes. Wears an open white button-up shirt over a red tube top and a jean skirt with black leggings. Always carries a bag with her full of clothes she recently bought.
Description: A teen who was out on a shopping spree before the lockdown. Assuming it to be over soon she begrudgingly endures it, but once she gets her COMP and learns of the demons, she begins too exterminate them in order to end the lockdown. At first she sees the demons as nothing more than obstacles keeping her from returning to her normal life as she learns more about demons she becomes more intrigued by them. She can be very condescending and selfish at times, but is also capable of compassion and understanding.
Starting Demons: Lilim and Sarasvati

Name: Amina Williams
Nickname: Mina
Age: 17
Description: Mina is a high school student, learning how to cook so she can be accepted into a culinary arts school. She's shy but can be outgoing when she's around her close friends. She became very frightened and paranoid when the lockdown began, but she was blessed with the ability to use demons to protect herself. Mina has long wavy dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a tall, slender body. she works at a local restaurant as a waitress to support her mother, since her father was slaughtered by a demon.

Is it cool if I ask stuff about the game here? Since I dont have it, I've been skimming guides and wiki's but theres always a chance I cant find all the details. I'm sorry about that and by all means, tell me off if my posts are stupid. Anyways my first question is about the death clock. Do the numbers ever change, or is your death set in stone?

The numbers can change if you defy your fate. Lol. That's pretty much what you do the entire game.

Another question. I realize now that you have to fight the demon before they join you. Is it cool if I edit a couple of sentences in my old post to fix that?

Sure. Go for it. At this point, it doesn't affect the other posts, so it's fine.

Well, for the first day, and once we get the RP going, I figured it was okay to screw with the times.

Plus, Red kinda jumped us forward 3 hours randomly without saying anything. <_<
