Persona 4 RP Phase 2

"......I know this is going to sound wrong. But im also a "mistake"" Yomiko said putting her hand on maeko's shoulder. "Er, not a mistake but more like a "Scar that will never go away." You see I was actually born through my mother getting raped. Technically I shouldn't be alive right now." she said hoping Maeko would feel like there was someone who could understand her anguish, if only slightly.

"I drove my mother to divorce my father." Nene said placing her hand on Maeko's other shoulder. "Said she "didn't want anything to do with a man stupid enough to try to tame a wild animal in the form of a woman" hoo boy." Nene said thinking back to her past herself. "I never told you all about my family have I?"

"No you haven't...but I'm only around because my parents have the minds of horny, irresponsible teenagers. They didn't want a child. I was only around to humor them." Maeko replied shrugging off their hands on her shoulders. "But my grandfather made me happy with who I was! I wouldn't be alive without him! Until that man...that day.." Maeko continued, she was cut off by the smoke alarm. She turned around and noticed the burning fish as she quickly turned off the stove.

"Gah! Shit!" Yomiko shouted as she opened a window in the kitchen.

"Oh no oh no oh no!!!! The big fish!" Nene cried.

"What the hell did you three do!?" Masuyo shouted as he walked into the kitchen with everyone else.

"Looks like they fucked up the food." Misaki said. "No problem though, we have enough tofu to last weeks, even with the huge number of people living here." she said as they began to pile bags and bags of tofu on the table.

"Eh! We still have the smaller catches! The fish will still be eaten!" Nene protested.

"Actually.......I kinda like my food kinda burnt anyways." Masuyo said noticing something being off with the three who were cooking. After Rise-chi i'd best make sure I don't say anything stupid to a girl for a while...

"Yeah, and not all of the fish is burnt, we'll just give the bad parts to the boys." Dahni laughed.

"Oh hey. What are you girls doing here?" Kentaro asks noticing Tsubasa and co.

"Because guys deserve everything bad and messed up by defualt and women deserve to be treated sooooooooo special by default for........having a vagina? I don't see that being a good reason to make anyone a better human." Yomiko said holding her hand to to her face. Why. Why did she have to open her mouth right after what I just heard? Why couldn't they have come back even three minutes later, even then i'd be a little calmer. Whatever curse Masuyo whines about all the time, looks like its targeting me now.....

" 'tis my fault! So I shall consume some burnt fish!" Nene said raising her hand into the air. "Besides, it was my catch anyways I gotta eat it no matter how bad it may be!"

"Actually." Masuyo said trying a piece. "The outside is singed but the inside is nice and moist. This is some good shit. I assume we have Fishmaster Maeko to give credit to?"

"...No, It was Nene's catch. Thank her." Maeko said, cleaning up the stove. She kept her hat down covering her eyes.

Masuyo's mouth dropped. "WHAT."

"Nyeheheh. Am i awesome or what!?" Nene said.

"Oh yeah you did always catch fish for us back then." Tsubasa said rummaging through the mountain of tofu

"...I'll be outside. I lost my appetite." Maeko said grabbing the Junes bad with her swimsuit as she walked out the door. "Let me know when we're ready to go."

"Oh yeah. Hey Kentaro can we use your uncle's lakehouse......starting today I guess??" Nene asked.

"What? Kinda short notice but I guess I could give him a call." He pulls out his phone and dials. "He should be out of the office around now.... Yo Uncle Ji! It's Kentaro, How's it?... Yeah I was wondering if I could borrow your lake house for a weekend.... yeah this weekend.... really?... aw man... yeah I understand... Are you kidding me? I couldn't do that.... Well no reason I guess... alright alright... thanks you too." he hangs up. "Dirty old man... Sorry guys lake-house is a no go. He's seeing a 'client' this weekend." He says making air quotes. "Said the hunnies love lakes and I should jut buy my own. Can you believe the guy? Sometimes I wonder what side of the family he gets that shit from."

"Just a joke Yomi. Sorry." Dahni laughed a bit, patting her on the back. "If the pool house doesn't work out, we could always pitch in to go the Amagi in, and use the bath houses. We should go do that sometime anyway."

Maeko sat outside under a tree, her arms wrapped around her legs. With her swimsuit bag next to her. "Sigh...I just had to bring it up, now it's all I can think about..."

"Penny for your thoughts?" asked Shinta as he approached Maeko. He sat down next to her andsmiled, "What's up? You're lookin' more glum than usual."

"...Hm? Oh, hey Shinta." Maeko replied, forcing a faint smile. "We were cooking..but burnt it. So I came out here, I'm just thinking about things."

"Buy one." Yomiko said to Kentaro. "Imagine all the things we can do if we own our own lake." she said with a grin

"For one, we could get out of town for a bit. I think we all need that after last night alone...Has anyone slept yet at all?" Dahni asked, yawning.

"Like what?" he asked.

"Nope!" Nene and Masuyo shouted at the same time.

"I tried to sneak in a quick nap earlier when you all were fishing." Yomiko said.

Maeko's smile faded. She turned away and looked up at the sky. "...My grandfather, and things that happend back then. I just got to thinking about it all."

"Boy, we're gonna sleep well tonight then." She laughed. Then yawned again. "So what time do we want to leave tomorrow for Kentaro's new lakehouse?"

"Eh, thats too over the top. I say we just go to the Amagi inn." Masuyo suggested.

"If we did that it does mean we can go tonight rather than waiting......" Nene said pondering the thought

"They must have a pool there, and hot springs to boot." Dahni commented. "Why not?"

"The past, huh?" Shinta sighed and sprawled on his back, "I'm no expert, but from my experience, the past can be both a person's foundation...and shackles. The trick is keeping one from becoming the other." Shinta chuckled and lightly slapped his forehead, "Sorry. I'm gettin' all preachy when I don't even know what's on your mind."

"Ha. No. It's fine. You have a point...But, I'm just wondering why everything with my grandfather had to happen the way it did..." Maeko replied, still staring up at the sky. "My fishing rod is all I have left."
