Persona 4 RP Phase 2

"Right." Maeko nodded at him in agreement. "Also, never start thinking that you aren't worth anything, the moment you start believing it, you are." She looked at her own hand for a moment before returning the thumbs up. After a few moments she remembered the net. She jumped up and grabbed the end, pulling it out of the water, struggling with it a bit.

"Oh looks like ya caught something." Masuyo said standing up. "Need a hand?"

"N-no, I got it!" Maeko replied, struggling with the net. She grunted as she pulled it up and out of the water. She dropped it on the deck in between them; the net opened as a few fish fell out of it, surrounded in seaweed. She took a moment to catch her breath. "Ha..yellowtail tuna, not bad. Haven't done net fishing in awhile." Maeko mumbled to herself, turning back to Masuyo.

"Nice. I think? Im not very fish savy unfortunately. Besides "It tastes good." I guess." Masuyo said. "Hell if you catch enough we could eat em tomorrow." he suggested.

"Heh, that's the idea." Maeko said, placing the fish in the ice bucket she brought. "Too bad they're so small though, they'll probably end up as bait." she said as she shook the excess water off the net, rolling it back up. She reached for her fishing rod and readied it, placing one of the previously caught fish on the hook. Soon after she cast it out.

After a few moments of awkward silence Maeko turned back to Masuyo. "So..uhm. Hm." She started, not sure what to say. She picked up the rolled up net and she handed it over to him.

"Yeah, I'll throw on something comfortable real quick." Dahni nodded. "I'll be right back." She smiled and went off to go change.

"Right. Uh, you wanna go out? I'm fine with staying in, though I'm not too sure what we could do here." Stefan looked around the room, a wave of failure beginning to sweep over him as he looked for something to do.

"I'll be down here." said Shinta waving her off. Why does that phrase make me worry about what she's going to wear?

"Well, we could just talk or play cards? You seem like it'd be better if we stayed in, especially with everyone else out and about." suggested Karin scratching the back of her head.

Yuuichi looked into Misaki's eyes worriedly and asked, "Misaki-kun? Is something the matter? You've been spacing out lately."

"Whuh?" Masuyo asked. "Want me to try catching something with the net?"

She sat back down on the dock, her feet hanging off the ledge. "Well. If you want.." Maeko mumbled, turning the other way. She turned her attention at her line in the water.

"Uh okay. Do I just stick it in the water and wait or what?" he asked looking at the net as if it were a foreign object.

"Well...pretty much. You can bait the water first if you want." Maeko awkwardly explained. "Just something to do if you're bored. I know I'm not exactly the most exciting person to spend time with." She mumbled under her breath, keeping her eye on her line.

Down the shoreline a distance from Masuyo and Maeko, Tamaki and Tsubasa sat and watched the moon's reflection glisten and dance along the waves. Tamaki stretched and leaned back, "Yup. Relaxing like this isn't so bad. Good call, Tsubasa."

Kentaro walks down the beach whistling but stops when he sees Tsubasa and Tamaki.

Tamaki wrote: "Yup.  Relaxing like this isn't so bad.  Good call, Tsubasa."

Kentaro avoids their line of sight but keeps walking.
*click*
"Abort mission! I repeat. Abort! Turn those choppers around! Plan 87B. Tell pyrotechnics we're moving ahead of schedule now!" he hisses into his phone.

"Its cool." Masuyo said to Maeko. "You shouldn't feel obligated to entertain others. Im tagging along with you, if anything I should be making sure you enjoy yourself rather than whining." he said with a small laugh. "Still, Yomi must be out like a freakin light if she still isnt up." he said putting his hand up to his chin.


"So.........uh.......how do you like Inaba?" Tsubasa awkwardly asked Tamaki. I dont know what to talk to him about without bringing up Karin or Shinta.......ugh. Im sure hes already pretty tired of that.

*PWWEEEEEEW! KRAKABOOOM!*

Fireworks go off over the shore where Tsubasa and Tamaki are sitting. Kentaro watches from a distance before turning and walking away.

Man I'm such a dumbass. Did I really think she was gonna wait for me? I should've been hanging out with her from the beginning instead of running around getting a bunch of flashy bullshit ready-- nah it's more than that. I'm always disappearing. I even split town right in the middle of a messed up shadow situation. I wonder when those two even... though I guess it doesn't matter. At least he seems like a nice dude... Kentaro continues with this train of thought for a while, but while he remains calm he can't help but feel the negative emotions creeping on the edge of his mind.

"Mm.." Maeko smiled faintly and nodded her head in response. Maeko kept quiet, watching her line; her gaze eventually turning to the moon and sky. "...I suppose nothing's biting tonight." she sighed.

Tamaki answered, "It's a nice place. It's got some old friends, and my job helps me meet a lot of new people. It's small, but cozy rather than claustrophobic. It's quiet, but peaceful instead of dull. Then again, it seems like it's only quiet where I'm concerned." He chuckled a bit at his last comment as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head, "What about you? You like it there?"

"Okay! I'm ready!" Dahni came out in her standard attire, her hair quickly thrown up in a ponytail. "Take me somewhere nice." She smiled at Shinta.

"Yeah, let's stay in." Stefan nodded. "Seems like it's going to be busy outside, might be nice to enjoy the quiet." We don't get that chance all that often....

"Well, only place I've been to so far is the beach, so how's about e explore the rest of the area?" suggested Shinta holding his hand out.

Karin nodded and went to grab a deck of playing cards, "Can't argue with that. What games do you know?"

"Sure. Sounds good to me." Dahni took Shinta's hand with a warm smile, and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"Wanna play crazy 8's?" Stefan shrugged, he sat himself down at the table. "We can start with that and see where the night goes."

Karin watched as Shinta led Dahni out the door. She smiled before turning to Stefan and taking out the cards. "Crazy 8's huh? Yeah, I'm game." said Karin shuffling the deck before sitting accross from Stefan and dealing out two stacks of 8 cards.
