Also, I really wish Izuka had been recruitable, I've missed the summoner class since FE8

Normally Soren doesn't have the STR to double with the S Rank Tome.

Personally they should of took all the character development from FE9 and put it into FE10 so there would be more storyline and actual character existence rather than "lols were on the same side"

Jill, Lethe and Titania are the only reasons I got through this game my first time.

In fact, I even remember on one of the chapters I was having trouble with, I benched everyone except those three and Ike. I pretty much plowed through it.

Not the best idea when it came down to it though. Cause everyone else lost a LOT of EXP oppurtunity.

Also, Bastian shows up too late in the game to be badass. He's more like.....actually, I hate Bastian. I usually call him Bastiard when I refer to him in the game.

Side Note: I hated FE10 cause you really couldnt focus on building any of your units up cause as soon as you go them you ended up switching again. Plus they had way too many units IMO. Plus they killed the heart of FE games development the supports.

That, and they forced you to take 6 people, most of them SUCK. Ike is the only one forced that is indesputably good. Micaiah is average at best. Kurth takes too much work. Ena has issues. Sanaki is fucking useless. Don't get me started on Slothe.

Also Lyle, boyd looks AWESOME okay? Hes a WARRIOR, he should be buff. Ike, on the other hand, was [louis] GRABBIN PILLS[/louis]

I thought the FE10 versions of Boyd and Ike were really ugly, actually. :x

I agree with Rozen on the switching out thing. And I hated the supports. And Micaiah <.<

I like to play FE9 more, for this single reason: TRIAL MAPS.

And I get very nostalgic. D:

FE9 was better if only for supports.

But it doesn't stop at supports.

I hated the group switching since it screwed over all the DB units, I hated the lack of supports since it pretty much scrapped any possible character development for characters introduced in the game, I hated the game for screwing over Sothe (AGAIN), and more then anything I hated the plot.

It took FE9 which despite following the usual FE formula of "I'm up in your country invadin' yo capitol" was very unique (Laguz, Portrayal of Nobility, Focus on Mercs instead of Lords) and crammed it into "GENERIC RPG FORMULAZ OMAIHGAWD"

I mean, if implemented right the main hero being some form of royalty could be an interesting plot device.

Having the story centered around a rebellion, interesting as hell.

Fighting a FUCKING GOD AS THE FINAL BOSS, Controversial, Epic and if done right can even question the very nature of exsistence for fuck-sake.

However FE10 takes all of those, and instead of doing them well, just crams them in there leading to a very Generic RPG plot.

Granted the Tales series which I love does the same thing, however they have interesting characters and awesome gameplay to fall back on, FE10 has neither.

Other then the returning characters from FE9, none of the characters introduced in FE10 (Save Michiah, who's blander then Eliwood) have any character development or personality what-so-ever at all.

Not only that but the Gameplay, which could have been fun and unique (Multiple parts and lords), got so clusterfucked by the "lawl change ur lord tiem" that it was extremely hard to level characters properly, which lead to having 5 or so God-Modded units and the rest be an army of underleveled pansies, esentially making the game God of War with a strategy element, as opposed to a FUCKING FIRE EMBLEM GAME!
