I never want to see it in a console RPG, especially a Tales game, ever ever again.

Why not just, like, instead of having alternate character paths, have ALL their backstories revealed, rather than forcing you to play through a very long game eight times for a marginally different ending?

He obviously doesn't get the whole "Games are art" thing.

It's more realistic that you DON'T know everything about all the people in a single playthrough. You go on an adventure with 8 people, and you will know more about one person than one of the other people.

Also, I'd rather play one good game 20 times, as opposed to 20 crappy games 1 time.

Plus, that saves you a shitload of money.

20 games= $1000

that doesn't make it valid. thats like if a female member made a topic about how she got pregnant, and all I post is a picture that says "SOMEONE FORGOT TO TAKE HER PILL!" Yeah its getting the point of what i wanna say across but its being said in a spammy manner. Under no circumstances (outside of spam forum) are responses that are only emotes/pictures allowed.

Seriously this guy is like the most idiotic person I have ever seen post on the affection system, renai games, which I have played a couple, DONT HAVE AFFECTION SYSTEMS in general, they usually just have, do you want to talk to this girl or this one or this one, not gain points with one particular girl to make them like you more. Some have affection systems but I have not played one that has had one.
