Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Unsurprisingly the Red Queen is the best character she cuts heads off and doesn't afraid of anything

Looks too creepy. I'd rather save money and just watch the Basterds again.

If all my friends want to see it, I'd see it. But only to be with my friends. Not to see the creepyness that is this movie.

Eh, I thought it looked creepy...It doesn`t really seem like "Alice in Wonderland" to me.

It wasn't really all that creepy.

I wasn't terribly impressed, though the cat was pretty awesome.

So, I got some more info on this movie. I saw that the Mad Hatter was the primary main villain, which befuddled me, cause I barely paid any attention to the moron when I was a kid, why is he the main villain? Then I saw that he was played by Johnny Depp.

And that's where the pieces come together.

-Creppy makeup.

-Story from childhood.

-Johnny Depp playing a borderline child molester character.

It's another fucking Johnny Depp wankoff movie. Like how they bastardized Willy Wonka, which I'm surprised that Gene Wilder didn't go Wako-kid on Depp for that bullshit, but now Johnny Depp has done it again.

Then I heard that they justified making Johnny Depp Pedofile Hatter being the main villain, cause it's what happened AFTER the events of Alice in Wonderland. So it's all okay and doesn't basterdize our youth as much as we thought it would.

But then the fucking thing isn't 'Alice in Wonderland'. It's 'Alice in Wonderland 2: The pedofiles strike back'. So not only is it a fucking sequel that was never meant to be, it has the ego to call itself the same title as the original story without even mentioning how the story is completely different.

Now, I'm always open to possibilities. I even saw 'Jennifer's Body' with an open mind when I went in, but I didn't even see this movie, and already I can tell that it's the stupiest thing in theaters right now, and I'm staying by that argument no matter what.

The Cat's probably alright. It's hard to fuck up an omnipotent feline who barely cares about what's going on.

To sum up this movie:

Johnny Depp's jerking off again.
Pedofilia.
Bastardizing children's youth.


Then again, I hated the real Alice in Wonderland too.

Of course that doesn't make your comments any less true. I'd say wank-fest is pretty accurate
...To a point. It wasn't enough to turn me off from the movie cause everything besides him was super pro and he also was pro sometimes. But yeah a bit too child-molestery once again with a bit too much screentime
The villain is the Red Queen OBVIOUSLY! OFF WITH HIS HEAD. Her presence alone negated all Depp irregularities, for me at least

Also it's worth pointing out that the reason I liked the movie is because in my book, "weird" is almost always a great compliment

Oh yes.
Although to be fair I liked the Depp version's Oopmpa-Loompa songs a lot better, in part because they were transcribed from the book okay I'll be quiet now

Well, the new Willy Wonka was more to the book. I'll give it that. Cept for the child pedofillia and the Johnny Depp wankfest. But you can't beat Gene Wilder regardless.

Still. Not going to see the movie. And Will stick to the story that it sucks like Avatar.

I saw it as a date movie. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

But I gotta say the fantasydragonandsword stuff made it feel not like alice in wonderland .-.

And the white queen was very clearly played by lady gaga.
