Hmm this is kinda crazy.

Actually, if they had the pokecenter closed randomly, that could be interesting. With the seasonal things, there could be snow blockage.

But that'd make the game harder, seeing as you'd have to fight your way to another center... Which goes against the entire basis of pokemon being a friendly fun game.

They really need a difficulty setting D:<.

But what happens when they all die? Normally you just warp to the nearest poke center

Then... Then your pokemon sustain serious injuries and are decreased a level, and you go back to your house or the second nearest pokecenter.

Why not "The poketrainer threatened you with his/her pokemon and took ALL of your money.........."

It would be hilarious with like.............lasses. And youngsters.
