You know who I have no sympathy for?

... American/Western youth that get caught by terrorists. So the news has been covering this story for a few days. I don't know I only half listen when news is on anyway. Basically Iran has released this girl they've been holding for a year on spy charges, 'cuz she's got cancer and someone paid her bail/ransom. She was backpacking w/ some friends when they were captured, and now that she's back everyone's overjoyed and is pleading for the release of the other guys. I think she brought the whole ordeal upon herself and she should consider herself lucky and stupid for what she did. What type of moron thinks taking pictures of countries w/unstable governments in the middle of a war makes a good trip? It's one thing if your part of a legitimate organisation like Red Cross and stuff, but college kids and reporters should stay the hell away from armed angry rebels (or watever they are.) Hell it's even understandable if the reporter's are in a large group, like covering the army or something, But three college kids w/ backpacks messing around in the middle east is begging for trouble and is to be frank, FUCKING RETARDED. But hey, maybe she really was a spy.

I kinda agree, however, I believe they were hiking in a neighboring country, and didn't realize there was a border in the mountain.

Why they were hiking near Iran I don't know, when there's plenty of mountains to hike here in America, so I still say their idiots.

Honestly, I think they actually ARE spies. No one is THAT stupid.

I sincerely HOPE they're spies and getting caught was part of their plan.

Over here at least, we have countless ancient ruins, and all of them are magnificent, plus a lot of great food and stuff. But Italy is cool, I want to go there too. Everybody tells me I look like Italians, so I'll fit in, no problem.

Have you seen ancient ruins from up close, though? I used to not really be interested in them either, until I saw one from up close, of one such historical sight, a very large palace which was mostly destroyed by Alexander in the times of old. Some of it still survives, with masterfully carved pillars stretching to the sky, giant gates adorned with winged guardians and reliefs of the ancient kings, workers, soldiers and gods...it's a sight to behold.

Camel meat is absolutely delicious, but not that of an adult camel, since they're firm and not very edible. The calf, on the other hand, has tender meat.

And as for the dress, yes, it's very liberating and comfortable, though it's the traditional Arab dress, not Muslim.
