The Daily Show and the Colbert Report

Both are my personal favorite TV shows that don't speak constant Japanese. Both are a comedic view of the days news. Including an interview with someone at the end. If you haven't watched this show you are missing out.

I've watched both. Personally, I think they're both kinda annoying after a while, and I soon grew out of it.

In fact, I found Colbert to be sooo annoying at one point, that he forced me into republicanism.

And now I watch The O'Riley Factor. And I find that even more epicly hysterical than the two left-wing dullards on Comedy Central.

Stewert and Colbert may be two of the funniest people alive and this is from someone who couldn't give two shits about politics.

I have watched them both and well to be honest, I go tired of the gags they had on there the first day ever watching.

I agree with Rozen.

They were fun for a little while. But then you realized what they were. The same 4 or 5 gimmicks recycled in a different order every few episodes.

The answer to the second one being: "Nope."

Regardless, their shows are still pretty stale and uninteresting.

And I just realized the last time I actually watched cable television seriously was like 8 months ago.

I do not really like the Colbert Robert. I am not a fan of politics. It was alright at first, but the show is just way too boring.

Making fun of Politics is okay but after awhile politics get alittle old cause its usally the same old story.

Really it is all politics when it comes down to it. Especially Colbert. And like Rozen said, it's always the same theme:

Democrats= Good, caring, loving individuals.
People who disagree with Democrats= Racist, evil, self-centered assholes.

just to show that I'm not a mindless democrat or I'm just high for some reason. I don't just watch those shows, I also watch Glen Beck NOW THAT GUYS FUCKED UP.

I have seen his show a couple of times, he sounds like he thinks hes crazy sometimes.

That's why I like his show, despite the fact it's serious, its something that I can listen too, somewhat agree with, and think that I at least have a friend in craziness :lol!:

Yeah my mom bought his new book, An Inconvenient Book, its kinda interesting, but it is sad that he does the show in entire seriousness which that shows how crazy the world is anymore.
