List me some PS3 titles

Kay, so if I haven't told you I'm negotiating with my parents on getting a PS3 this christmas. Yes, I do plan on having a 360 some day but I picked the other one this time. Thats not what this is about!

Anyway, I've been told to come up with a list of games for other family members to give me if I actually get the console. Thing is, they don't wanna buy GTA-esqe games. That rules out quite a few M rated ones I wanted to get. I'll get them myself at a later date.

So help me think of good games with a rating of T or lower on the PS3. You can suggest M rated ones on the condition that they arent excessively gorey or violent. Heavy Rain's an example. Bioshock 2's NOT an example (but it'll be one of the first things I get lol)

And even if people have already suggested games, please offer your opinions on them. Not everyone likes the same crap.

FF13 (I know it'll probably be bad but its really cheap now)
Valkyria Chronicles (I've beaten it once, i love this game)
Little Bit Planet
3D Dot Game Heroes (i'm not too sure about it, anyone played it?)
Heavy Rain

Eternal Sonata
Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes

What do you really like about them?

Oh and demons souls.

Basara is a decent hack and slash with actual depth (since it was done by the devil may cry guys), and interesting/entertaining characters with multiple story routes for replayability.

I havent gotten far in eternal sonata, but it uses an interesting battle system, and its only 13 bucks in most stores so you cant really go wrong. Its a combination of real time and turn based, and is 3 players

Np. Basara is pretty new, and thats only 40. Demon's Souls is only 20 bucks, and eternal sonata is absolute max 30 bucks NEW.

I'd assume the rating comes from a little gore and strong language? It looks interesting and it's way cheap now ._.

Specifics please? I dont wanna go out and buy a game off of "its great. just about everything is great"

Like, what kind of battle system does it use? Turn based? Real time on one plain? Real time with free roam? How's the story/atmosphere? Upbeat and happy? Dark and suppressed society?

It's a rudimentary 3D action game with emphasis on setpiece boss encounters, which is the only time the mechanics really shine. The story is rather bleak most of the time, and it does an exemplary job of exploring its characters and setting. Storytelling and atmosphere are the game's biggest selling points, I'd say.
