There are a lot of very technical rules for determining gayness. The system can be hard to follow sometimes, though.
In its simplest form, it goes something like this:

2 or more guys feeling each other up = gay
1 guy feeling himself up = gay
2 or more guys in the same picture = gay
1 guy in a picture = gay
Any guy, anywhere = gay
Girls talking about hot guys = gay
Girls with clothing = gay
Anything I don't like = gay
Actual gay people = not gay
