I'd like to share a story

I recently stumbled across this one in my many travels across the land of the internet and I figured I would share this one with you.

For sake of feeling generous I will not be using the actual names of all characters involved in this story.

There were once two men named Michael and David both of whom where madly in love with a girl named Karen. To Karen, she saw Michael as a honorable man who seems to be as nice as can be, whereas David was just the opposite in her eyes seen nothing more than a womanizer who is just trying to find the most beautiful women he can get his hands on. Naturally she fell in love with Michael in a heartbeat, much to the chagrin of David, who not wanting to stand for this plotted a way to kill Michael and make sure that he would be the one who had Karen. After deciding on a plan and going to where Michael lived during a dark, cold night, David tried to stab Michael in his sleep only to receiving a killing blow for his efforts. In his final breath David softly said "you lying, manipulative bastard." and died looking at Michaels smiling face knowing that his efforts have paid off. Love left Karens eyes blind to the truth of both these men, in fact their roles were reversed, with Michael being the manipulative evil man doing whatever he needed to make sure he got Karen, where as David was the true good person out of the two and with him dead and Karen still blind as a bat gives Michael all the power over her.

Now naturally I would like to say this, this wasn't an actual real life lovers quarrel but a tale that I got out of a video game. Instead of me just telling you, I want you to figure out the game, I will give you two hints for this.

1. It is a game that we feature on this forum

I dont know who else here has played the DDS. Persona's a mainstay and I know TLS played some nocturne but as far as I knew I was the only one.

I'm trying to actually beat it I've only played it once and only got a couple hours in. Now I have motivation (by motivation I mean someone uploaded the iso to the sequel)

I've played DDS 1. My friend let me borrow it for a shortwhile

I'm not scolding you for emulating. I will say though that pretty much all of the PS2 SMT games are worth owning physically. Except maybe the first raidou game. The 2nd was marginally better. DDS is great. I've got a couple playthroughs from the 1st and I transfered data to the 2nd one and beat that once.

I'd get a hard copy if I actually could ever find it at a gamestop, since I'd be lucky to find Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn more than once every 3 years there.

yeah... the only SMT game you'll find at a gamestop is P4 on a good day.

I found raidou 2 in the collectors edition box (with the raihou plushie) in one by accident. I will never be that lucky again.

I did get both DDSs from amazon for about 25 apiece. Well worth the price if you can buy things online.

Which I don't since I've had terrible experiences with online mailing services. I've lost like 3 games in the mail in the past couple years that I really wanted.
