Persona 4 RP Phase 2

"Whoosah!" Nene shouted as she opened the bucket and the fish landed inside. "I'll keep it ready for your lightning fast catches captain!"

"Go get em!" Nao said raising her fist to the sky full of excitement

"...Thanks." Maeko smiled at them. She fired her harpoon in the water again, pulling up another fish, though smaller than the last. She tossed it towards Nene.

"Got it!" she said catching it.

"Go go go!" Nao shouted getting overly excited

"..No. We should be fine for now." She replied, rinsing the tip of her harpoon in the water before getting out of the river. Maeko took the fishing rod back from Dahni and reeled it in.

...Perfect. Just perfect. Shinta stood silent as he took in all the information. He regained his composure and said, "Believe it or not that that's the least surprising thing you've said. Well, to be honest I had a feeling you were stupidly strong, this just explains it. Anyway, if I'm one of the targets then that means there are others, right? Either way we just have to find a way to stop her while keeping at least one out of her reach. Although I'm pretty sure that's way easier said than done, especially with our group. Heh, guess it can't be helped, huh? I'm gonna hafta-Ghgh!!!" Shinta was cut off by a fist slamming into his face, knocking him off balance and sending him a few feet down the road. Holding his cheek he got to his feet and steadied himself, "Called it. So called it."

"Shi~n~ta~ku~n~," said Karin in a dark tone that betrayed her sing-song style of speech, "Nice of you to join us. Now where the fuck were you?"

"Ow," Shinta winced before answering, "Oh, you know? Here and there. Finding out about what was going on. I'm sure you'd agree I wasn't in the best condition to fight."

"About that," Karin asked with a more concerned tone, "what was that?"

Shinta looked away, "Just an experiment."

"Bullshit! What kind of experiment was that? And why'd you leave your phone behind? You scared the shit outta me." shouted Karin angrily.

"...I'm sorry." Shinta said scratching his head, "I didn't mean to scare you. I just...felt that there was something I had to do, so I..." Karin walked up to Shinta and pointed a finger square at his face.

"Next time, call."

"...What?"

"You heard me. I'm sure you were just doing what you thought was best on your own again. And even if I tell you not to you'd just do it again. So just let me know next time, got it?" she crossed her arms and smirked.

"...Yeah, I got it." said Shinta with a smile, "Sorry about that."

"Well, you seem okay now, so I'll forgive you."

I'll never understand the appeal of fishing. Dahni thought. Still, they had fun, I don't mind. She smiled. "Say, why don't we come back down here after lunch for a swim?"

"Swim? Why?" Maeko asked, packing up her gear and putting her shoes back on. "Also, Nene. Did you want to sell your catch?"

"Why not? It's nice out and everything. You don't go swimming?" Dahni laughed. "How can you spend so much time by the water and not swim?"

"What..would I get from swimming?" Maeko asked scratching her head. "And why would you swim in a public river where everyone who passes by can see you? I don't understand the appeal.."

"Hmmm.....I say we make a feast for everyone!" Nene said picking up her rod. "Swimming? Im pretty sure Kentaro has a private lake house we could visit if we wanted to do that. Cleaner water, our own little spot, and no people to watch us swimming!" Nene said trying to meet both Maeko and Dahni halfway.

"It's just fun and relaxing Maeko. You've never tried it?" Dahni asked. "It's good exercise too."

Kentaro shudders Something tells me I'll be talked into buying real estate pretty soon.

"Instead of waiting around for Auntie A to murderize our source of info, why don't we go look for him? A guy his size shouldn't be hard to find."

"...So that's the situation.." Stefan said on the other side of a curtain in a hospital room. "...You good with all this?"

"....I am..." Said a raspy voice from the other side of the curtain.

"...Are you really? You're in more danger than any of us, even putting aside your condition, she comes here every day."

"...And she's done nothing since I've been here. If she was going to, it would have happened." The voice said.

"Rodrigo...You're the only reason I'm still in this thing." Stefan responded. "...Honestly, I was ready to ditch when I found out about these side effects, but you...you have it worst, and you've never complained once..." He chuckled. "I'd be a pansy if I left over a bad temper."

"...My reasons aren't noble." Rodrigo responded. "....Despite the drawbacks, I've gained a lot of power from this. That's something...hard to come by." He began coughing. "Now go..."

"...T-..Take care." Stefan got up and walked out of the room. Power huh? Is it worth all that?

"...Alright. I suppose." Maeko sighed. She stood up stretching, she picked up her gear, and the ice bucket. "Let's get all this cooked first or in a fridge, if won't last forever in this bucket."

"Sure." She patted Maeko on the back, standing up and stretching.

"Hmm.." Maeko shrugged off Dahni's hand. "Let's get going." Maeko said, carrying all her gear and the ice bucket as she walked off. I wonder what happened to Shinta..oh well, whatever.

"So what are we looking for this fucker for again?" Masuyo asked as he walked down the sidewalk with Yomiko and Kentaro.

"So we can get the information before Auntie kills him." Yomiko replied.

"Ah. Well then...........where the fuck should we even look for this guy?" Masuyo pondered as he stopped walking.

After a brief walk to the apartments Maeko walked up to the door and walked inside. She walked in the kitchen and placed the whole ice bucket in the fridge. "Come on, Nene, we should wash our gear before heading out." She told to Nene. "What is it you wanted to do again Dahni?"

"Well...swimming!" She brightened up a bit. "...But we don't have to if you don't want. Although maybe Nene's right and Kentaro has a place we can go to for the weekend or something."

"It's fine. I'll just tag along. Shouldn't we ask Kentaro?" MAeko said as she washed her and Nene's fishing hooks.

"Yeah. I'm sure he's around somewhere. Oh Kentarooo~!!!" Dahni called.

"Im sure he's gonna say yes. Lovely ladies in swimsuits! He'd never say no to that." Nene said laughing

"I guess that's the kind of person he is, then?" Maeko sighed and looked at Dahni. "You don't have to say it like that. Can't you call him with your phone?"
Oh right..swimsuit. I don't have one, oh well. I'll just swim in my clothes.

"Oh yeah! I keep forgetting about my darn phone for some reason." Nene said as she scrolled through her phone till she found a contact labeled "Manslave". "And now I call Kentaro!" she said as she selected the name and held the phone to her ear

"Hmm...Think I should wear my yellow bikini? Or the floral one piece?" Dahni asked Maeko. "Or maybe we could all go shopping together for swimsuits. Just the girls! We can make a day out of it!"
