People have cool dreams sometimes. Post 'em here if you want.

Of course I have a specific case in mind:



I saw this on Sesame Street when I was really, really young.
AND THEN I HAD NIGHTMARES ABOUT IT FOR YEARS
The one with a Z in it was the worst.
It was always the Z that would appear in my nightmares

The first one I had (wasn't long after seeing the Z animation for the first time) is still a vivid memory.
I was in the living room and all the lights were out. Then the Z appeared in the TV and pulled me inside somehow. Then it said "Z" in the tone used in the video above.
This was the scariest thing in the whole fucking world to me

For YEARS that faggot Z would plague my dreams
Always jumping out of windows and flying around and saying its own name
I hate that son of a bitch

Instantly, chills down my spine. Sweat begins to form on my forehead. This is some crazy shit
I am almost disappointed that the Z one does not exist on the internet.

But the voice and animations are identical to the Z one.

I am mentioned many times, in plural form, in your post.

Regardless, I don't seem to have many dreams these days. Though one time, during my absence, I had this horrifying dream about God Hand. I don't remember much but it was about one of those hat ladies. I was beating her up, obviously, but when her hat came off her head was in the shape of a cone (her hat) and she had the most terrifying eyes and screamed at me.

I don't remember much more, but it was pretty gnarly.

I don't have many dreams either these days. Supposedly they become less frequent as we age.

Many things factor dreaming. For example, the mental state and the hour you wake up at. A person who is very depressed will have, more often than not, disturbing dreams (not exactly nightmares) almost all the time. I'm not sure about the wake up hour, but that's probably true too.

I don't think ageing has anything to do with remembering dreams though. Unless old age memory loss can affect it.

Oh yeah I erroneously used "dreaming" instead of "remembering dreams" so just swap those two.

Yeah I misused that too...everyone dreams every night, pretty much. That's what Rapid Eye Movement sleep is. Dreaming is a biological necessity.

So it'd be that people remember fewer dreams as they age, if that's an accurate piece of information. I'll look it up on Wikipedia tomorrow that will solve everything

My dream a few nights ago...

I dreamed I was a hot 20 year old woman, wearing spaghetti straps and tight jeans. I fall asleep on my sofa and watch from a 3rd person POV. Then these two guys come into the apartment and start unzipping themselves. I knew damn well what they were gonna do, but I/she didn't care enough to resist so she pretented to be asleep.

Yeah... what do you think happens with two guys and a hot girl who's asleep? Let's just say it was messy in the end.

I had a dream where I had 10 dollars and I bought an SA account.

Not all my dreams are terrible!

Some of them are so happy it makes me want to cry when I wake up, because I get so sad that it isn't real. Like recently, where I dreamt that Sara (a girl from my old school and friend of mine) came back here from Florida, told me she loved me and I could never understand how much so, and wanted to spend all her time visiting with me because she didn't have enough time. And I was happy !

Then I woke up and remembered: it's still a dream, she's still in Florida, and she has a boyfriend. FML

To clarify: It didn't feel like a bad dream... and later I looked and apparently I finished too .____.

But yeah, in general you remember the bad ones or the completely bizarre ones.

I have recurring dreams about being attacked by ventriloquist dummies.

Usually attacked and killed in some unimaginably painful way.

I usually don't remember the details in my dreams, but I know I usually end up dying in most of them. D:

I dunno. I remember reading it somewhere. If you have a dream of your own death, it's not necessarily a bad sign.

Death in dreams means longevity. If someone dies in a dream, be it yourself or another, it means their lifespan has increased.

Though I'm not sure about such frequent deaths. That just might be your fears or something.

Well uh, that's good for me I suppose.

The earliest dream I can even remember having is a bunch of Stormtroopers shooting me and I black out.
Then a happy face floats up into my field of vision and says "You're dead."
Then it flies away.

So uh increased lifespan plz I really deserve it at this point

I remember hearing that people tend to dream about what they were thinking about during the day.
If that's true (and it does sound true), then if you were spending a bunch of time thinking about it, of course you would dream about it.

Not just during the day, but a lot of dreams are things you regularly think about and generally, meaningless. For example, if you really want some car, you'll dream that you've finally bought it and are driving it, etc.

Or if you're afraid that you'll never get the car, that's what you will be dreaming about.

I don't dream, and I like it that way

Dreams for me have always been wonderful and calm for me, I have nightmares but they are few and far between. Though sometimes I really wish some of my dreams were reality.
