An archetype (pronounced /ˈɑrkɪtaɪp/) is an original model of a character, ideal example, or a prototype upon which others are copied, patterned, or emulated.

Masu is almost exactly like your everyday town-dwelling, noble-hating, clumsy RPG hero. And Lyle is his just as clumsy buddy who always does stuff with him.

Bishop is just like that dick rival in animes/games who torment you 60% of the game/series, then end up helping out in the end and turn out to be a soft hearted chump.

Len is like the violent chick in an anime who has a sweet soft side that makes everyone run for the hills when its shown
