Strategy:

- Nightmare is a balanced fighter with lots of HP. His specials are more expensive to use than most, but if timed properly, they can be devastating.
With 5SP, the best combo would be to wear down the enemy's defense, then use Styx Wave followed by Dark Geyser if it connects.
Darkness can be used as a shield- if it's between you and your enemy, you can recharge in safety, and if the enemy tries running through it to attack you, you can Dark Geyser him back through it for an unblockable 10 damage total.

Stage: Streets at night, in front a classy club with lots of spectators. If the Sharp Dressed Man himself is fighting in this stage, there are lots and lots and lots of fangirls cheering him on.

- The Sharp Dressed Man is a more defensive character than most. His specials have two main goals: Knocking the enemy away and following up with Stick Pin at maximum range, and wasting the enemy's defense cards with White Gloves and Diamond Ring.
Be careful when using White Gloves- although this special can be used as many times as you want in one turn, it eats through your cards and SP. It's most effective when used once in a while to throw enemies off, or if you have a lot more cards than your opponent and want to quickly wear him down.

- TLS was once a normal helicopter pilot who liked to play No More Heroes and do stuff with Steak Knives, until he managed to stop a robbery at his local KFC. After stopping the robbery at the KFC TLS was given the SEXCOPTER as a gift from Colonal Sanders.

Sexcopter
A Sexcopter flies down to one end of the stage. It is impassable by enemies and has 6HP. At the start of your turn, it moves forward one space. Any enemies in a space it enters or leaves take 3 damage and are pushed back one space. (3SP)

- TLS has critically low HP and defense, but the highest attack in the game. He can also use his Quickstep ability to retreat as needed.
His HP is very low, and as such many of his specials are meant to help him survive. Quickstep makes it easier for him to run away and heal with Bucket O' Chicken or use Wiimote Charger, and the Sexcopter makes for good cover.
Wiimote Charger helps build SP faster, but it also aids defense. If your HP is low, using it as a defensive buffer might be a good idea.
It goes without saying that Sharp Objects is incredibly risky, but unlike many of his opponents, TLS can flee and recover health afterwards. Just keep in mind, it doesn't counter ranged attacks, even at point-blank range.
TLS is all about doing a lot of damage, then running away. Lolcano, an immensely powerful ranged attack, helps keep him well out of harm's way and lets him retreat more quickly.

Strategy

- Tsukune is an offensive fighter with low defense, but lots of HP to compensate. He fights with the aid of Elements which increase his powers- it's usually a good idea to have one active at all times, but try to time their use so that your opponent can't counter them.
Switch between Elements depending on the situation. If the enemy likes to run around, use Lightning or Earth. If you're facing an opponent with lots of cards and SP, use Metal. If you're having trouble coming up with a good angle of attack, use Water.
Elemental Blast is also extremely situational, as well as being good for hitting retreating targets. Lightning and Earth Blasts are especially useful for this.
Also, Fire and Metal Blasts are great for finishing an enemy- Fire for its high damage and range, and Metal for its ability to guard against melee attacks, then strike back.
Tsukune has low defense and no defensive specials- be extremely careful when powerful enemies close in, and keep your hand stocked. Elements are cheap - feel free to use surplus SP for drawing or using Elemental Blast.

- A young explorer from Kanto. He wants to become good at Pokemon battles, but isn't very good at them currently, and his low self-confidence tends to impede his progress- although that's putting it mildly. Any misfortune at all can completely destabilize him.
Michael always travels with his Gastly, whose personality appears to be the complete opposite of his own. Could overexposure to ghost-types have caused his mental instability, or is he just like that?
While exploring a cave, he came across a strange group who appeared to possess highly advanced technology. They were creating portals of some kind, and Michael, explorer to the core, was unable to resist stepping inside when no one was looking.
Stage: Subterranean Complex, Lair of Dark Creatures
Theme
Special Ability - Lurking Shadow: Michael fights alongside Gastly.
-Gastly can move independently from Michael.
-Movement actions can be used to move both, or either one.
-Gastly can move once per turn without using an action.
-Gastly cannot be attacked and ignores obstacles and effects such as knockback.
-All regular attacks are Michael's, while all special moves are Gastly's.
-When Gastly is in the same space as Michael, all damage he takes is -1.
Special Ability - Fragile Psyche
While Michael's HP is below 9, his attacks are +1.
While it's below 4, his attacks are +2 and damage received is -1.
Attacks that would defeat Michael instead reduce him to 1HP (unless he's already at 1HP).

Confuse Ray
Three spaces in front of Gastly (not the one he's in) become Haunted until the end of your next turn. Enemies in this area are -1 attack and defense and cannot draw cards. (2SP)

- Michael can be tricky to play as, because his fighting style relies on coordinating two separate characters. On top of this, all of his stats are very low. Victory requires careful timing and positioning.
At the start of a fight, don't focus too heavily on defense- you'll want to do that once your HP is low enough to receive the bonuses from Fragile Psyche. Once it's below 4, pull Gastly back to you and move in for the kill. Don't get discouraged if the fight goes badly at first- it's pretty much supposed to.
Gastly can pursue enemies around the field- he moves faster than most fighters with his free movement action. If the enemy is just out of range, don't hesitate to use Gastly to punish him. Conversely, knockback effects can be dangerous, because they hit you but not Gastly and can split you up- although they're also less effective on you because Gastly can continue the attack from the same position.
Many of Gastly's specials hurt the opponent's hand. Using Lick and Spite along with attacks to cause the opponent to lose cards, followed by Confuse Ray, could be devastating.
Gastly's special attacks aren't affected by Fragile Psyche- when your HP is high, use Night Shade more often, as it's your strongest attack. When it's low, use more Spite - the loss of defense cards will help your now-improved regular attacks to finish the job.

He's in his 30's, has short black hair, and appears to have shaved in a hurry. He usually wears dark colors to aid his covert activities.
He fell into a portal while dueling a group of shadowy agents. Now lost in a strange world, he fights to find his way back to his homeworld as well as to find those responsible for his misfortune and put an end to them.

- Catbread is a balanced character with an offensive edge. His specials are focused on controlling the distance between him and his opponent.
Although he has no fast retreat option, An Obliterate followed by Chaotic Eruption, though costly, will result in a long walk for the enemy, giving you time to get cards back if necessary.
Use Swift Deflection to make enemies lose attack and defense options when they'd be needed most.
If the enemy tries to retreat to catch their breath, let them. While your foes flee, you can recharge, and when they stop to rest, Psycho Rush is the perfect wakeup call.
