I-con 2010

So, yeah. Within the first 20 minutes I was ready to go home and take a shower. I never felt like a bigger asshole in my entire life. Like someone was watching my life and just sighed over how nerdy my situation was.

But eventually that feeling passed once we got to the vendors and the guy at the hentai booth yelled: "WELCOME TO THE WALL OF SMUT!"

Then I started to feel at home. I didn't buy anything from him, but I did take notes on the good looking games that I could download for free.

I got a few videos, and I decided that if I go to Otakon I'm gonna dress as Waldo.
There was a guy there dressed as fucking Waldo. It was super pro.

I left him alone at first, but by the third time I saw him I had to go up to him and say: "I found you."

The guy seemed so bummed. He must have been hearing that all day. And there were times later when I saw people saying: "I FOUND YOU WALDO!!! LOL!!"

So we walked around some more. I shot some of the Blaz tournament. But I forgot to charge my camera, so I had to plug it in.

I participated in a SP trivia contest. I did pretty well. I didn't win, but I made it to the last real round and lost on a question no one in the room knew. And there were questions where no one else knew and I did. I even corrected the answer sheet a few times. Still lost though.

Later on we went to get food at a mall, checked out the vendors more, found more costume people, etc etc. Then my friend wanted to go see the cosplay contest. Now, by that point I was relatively okay with things, and the presenters were the people who did the voices for Jessie and Brock from pokemon. Which was pretty cool, I must say. And I stuck through it for a while, but then they got the entire audience singing the pokemon theme. I couldn't take it, and my friends felt pretty similar.

There was a point where Brock was like: "Yo Jessie. Guess what? I won the game, NOT THAT GAME," and the entire audience went: "AWWW!!!!" "Nope, I won the important game; I FOUND WALDO!!!!"

Waldo stood up and waved to everyone, and everyone cheered for him. It was pretty cool.

Then we watched a street fighter tournament. By that time it was late, I was tired, and I wanted to go home.

Today: L4D tourney at 12. Wish me luck. Blood will be spilled. I will represent Team: The Bastards.

Also, I got a sweet Soul Eater wall poster.

Also, it wasn't the original Jesse and Brock. (Rachel Lillis and Eric Stuart) They were part of the incredibly lame new voice cast from 06 and on. Lol. [/nerd]

Tourney was a fraud. They weren't prepared for it at all. So it didn't happen. Just L4D freeplay. I was the best person there too. It was a shame.

Not much happened today. I took a few more vids of cosplayers, but nothing really important happened. We left pretty early. The whole thing seemed to be over. All the good people were hungover. Lol.

Tis a shame no tourney to show the people how to play L4D right, ah well those things happen.

There was a blackboard on the wall behind, so I wrote:

So we might get like 1 new member from it.

There was an 8 year old dressed like a hunter. And then a guy dressed like Louis. I didn't get it on my camera, but my friend did, as they had the kid on top of Loius tearing him apart while Louis was freaking out.

Awesome, though I could probably get a picture of a hunter since this one guy at my school dresses up as one like once a week.

Lol.

Not a single Tales person though. Very upsetting.

There was one okay Minato, but he was hanging out with a terrible Mitsuru and if I taped one, I'd have to get both.

And it was an expensive camera. I'd hate to risk it being destroyed by ugly Mitsuru.

There was like 20 Narutos and 8 Deidaras. Mind you, they were all girls. Which means fangirls. Which means sick.

Also, speaking of Metal Rabbit, I saw a Buneary key-chain. So I had to get a shot of it. And I did.
