Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"Im serious. Dont you want to know? I promise, I'll show you." Masuyo said as he grabbed her bat and walked to her to give it to her.

"Masuyo............." Yomiko said. "Be careful"

Karin stepped towards the bat skeptically, "What are you planning? You gonna make the spikes stab me or something?"

"No." Masuyo said as he handed her the bat. "You wanna learn how to do it or what?"

Karin paused for a moment and reached her hand out to grab the bat.

"Alright. Can you use ice magic?" he asked her. "I can give you a hand if you dont think you can."

Karin shakily answered, "I...don't know."

"Well uhhh......just do whatever the hell you were doing earlier. But instead of thinking about murdering us, think about ice. Maybe. Thats how it works for me. I just think about what i wanna use." Masuyo said to Karin without a single sign of hesitation

Karin took a deep breath and repeated what she heard, "Just think...about...ice." After a few seconds black shards of ice began to cover her bat. "It worked!"

"Nice! See i told you!" Masuyo said grinning. "Trust me, we're here to help you. You can trust us. I dunno what Shinta did, but im his good buddy, I promise I'll give him a good fat lip for whatever he might've done to you. I kept this promise, i'll make sure I hit him too. Whaddaya say?" Masuyo said holding his hand out to Karin

"That goes for me as well," Rai said, "We are just trying to help."

"My...friends?" Karin dropped her bat and held her head, "What am I doing? All I... all I wanted was to..."
"Looks like you calmed down now." Shinta stepped from the orchestra seats.

"Now what," Rai said turning around looking at Shinta.

"Where the fuck were you!?" Masuyo asked as he ran up to shinta and hit him in the face. "Did you seriously just watch us!?"

"Okay, I sort of deserved that," Shinta wiped his cheek, "But in her current state seeing me wasn't best for her. So I wanted to see if you guys were better suited for that."

"What the hell," Rai said feeling slight anger, "What did you do."

"I guess."Masuyo said waving his hand as it stung slightly. "Well, get fixin." he said as he pointed to Karin.

Shinta shrugged, "Right. Guess I should do something about that." He made his way over to Karin, who looked at him with angry yet desperate eyes.
"What do you want?"
"It's been painful for you hasn't it? Being sent out here after losing all your friends."
"...I was still young, so Tamaki-aniki convinced the police that we were being used. Mom and Dad said they didn't know what to do with me though, so they sent me to live with Grandma. They said if I fuck up one more time they'd cut me off completely. Grandma's friends are always watching me and telling her what I do. It's like this whole town's a prison."
"You were desperate for any semblance of your past. The slightest chance to get away from all this."
"I can't take this anymore. I want to leave this place forever, but I can't escape alone."
"And that's when you saw Natsuyama, and you wanted to believe so much that he was your old friend. And despite the evidence to the contrary you tried so hard to believe it. You acted like everyone lies but in the end you were lying to yourself. And when you learned the truth you lashed out against it."
"It was a lie...it had to be a lie. That's what I told myself."
"It's the truth and you'll need to accept it. You have accept who I really am, and who you really are."
"..."
"Karin?"
"I know. I knew from the start that he wasn't Raiha. And I knew that there was no way I could leave this place on my own. But I just wanted to hold onto that illusion for as long as possible. Heh...when I say it out loud it's actually kinda pathetic. But I guess...that's who I am. That's me." The dark aura around Karin vanished in a flash of light and a card dropped in front of her, "This is..."
"Your new power. Rather, a power that was always in you." Shinta held out a hand, "Persona."

"Seeing Shinta in a heartwarming scene is rather...........eeeeeeeeeeehhh." Masuyo mumbled behind Shinta.

"Shut it!" Yomiko said as she elbowed him in his side.

"Gah! Hey thats the side that's still injured!!!" he said pathetically trying to get pity

"Is everyone alright?" Reika said feeling slightly helpless.

Just that easy? Stefan thought. ".....How were you able to manifest all those shadows?" He asked Karin. "....Was this affecting your mind too Shinta? Are you alright now?" Something isn't adding up.

"Too be honest, I'm not sure," Shinta answered as he placed Karin's arm around his shoulder, "If I had a guess I'd say that her mind was under such distress that no single Shadow would appear, instead an mass influx of Shadows. I kinda dropped some heavy info on her."

"Well, we can finally go right?" Masuyo said looking at Yomiko. "When the drugs effects wear off it feels like you've been hit by a car. I wanna get her outta here." he said to shinta

"Alright," Reika said feeling a bit at ease, "I'll meet you guys at the exit."

"Yeah," Rai moved his arm, "I want to get this looked at, its not broken but it wouldn't hurt."

Shinta nodded, "Right. Sorry 'bout all this, guys. Especially you, Karin."
"Well...in the end you came back, so I guess I'll forgive you." Karin said before finally losing consciousness.
"Stayed awake just in time to get the last word in," Shinta sighed before smiling warmly as he positioned Karin onto his back, "Stupid Strawberry Head."

"This fight was crazy," Rai said, "Multiple shadows instead of one."
