I'm going into the military.

Had a big discussion with my mother today. I've a huge fear of commitment, and because of it, I've had a lot of trouble since I've left high school. Talking has helped me to realize the only way to really fix that is face this head-on, and the Military will force me to get over it, as well as giving me a bunch of other benefits including health care, school payment, and a Troops-to-Teachers program. And a place to live, as well as a job of course.

So yeah. Just figured I'd let you guys know. Since you're my friends lol

I've considered that option before as well. But then I remembered I'm a massive coward, and an even bigger crybaby. They'd break me in about 3 minutes. And then I'd probably wind up in Jail.

You should probably think a lot about this decision though. I'll support you though. Since you're my friend.

Also, you will officially step into the realm of badass, if, if you ever get into a fire-fight (God forbid though) if you scream at the top of your lungs:
"JOIN TALES CHRONICLES AT FORUMOTION DOT NET!!!!"

OH, don't get the wrong idea. i'm not going into the Army. I'm too much of a pacifist to actually go to Iraq, or anywhere with any sort of fighting. I'm going into the Navy. I'll likely go into computers like my parents and sit behind a desk my entire career. After bootcamp of course. Which is only two months.

Mom and my ex-father were Navy, and I got sibs and uncles in different branches of the service, so I think I get a little where your coming from. To be honest with you, I have absolutly no clue what I'm gonna do with my life(so far I'm takin Liberal arts, useless lol) so like I said much respect man.
