Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"Actually, I noticed that there was something going on at the shrine." Stefan said between waffles. "Some kind of kimono festival thing? I forget. They might have some info on it at the front desk. If not, they're bound to have some kind of stuff at the front desk. It's a busy city, there's gotta be something to do." He scarfed down another waffle.

"Kimono festival thing?" That's the best he can remember? Shinta stood up from his seat and made his way to the front desk, "I think I'll do just that."

"I'll tag along as well," Rai said standing, "Need something to do to burn the time away."

"Well isnt that unfortunate. I didnt pack one. And im not going to buy one when I already have a perfectly wearable one at home." Yomiko said finishing her food.

"Doesn't matter. Risette concert." Masuyo said like a machine.

"Excuse me," Shinta asked the woman at the front desk, "Is there any kind of event going on sometime today? Before the Risette concert, preferably."

"No good Natsuyama," Shinta shrugged, "Seems the day's freed up 'til the concert."

"Say Stefan," Karin said putting her plate away, "Think I can talk to you for a second?"

"Uh. Sure." Stefan said. "Private?"

Karin sheepishly replied, "If you don't mind."

"....Sure." Stefan got up from his seat. Looking back at his plate, he grabbed one more bite of waffle and chugged his orange juice. "I'm ready."

"Good," Karin motioned for Stefan to follow her. Once she was sure they were clear of the others she began talking, "I noticed you were kinda down yesterday and I just wanted to say...well it's about me leaving you alone at the diner suddenly...I'm sorry about that. Ever since meeting Tamaki-aniki and Raiha, well before then really, no one's really thought of me as 'a normal girl.' I guess I didn't know how to take it and just sorta...yeah. Again, sorry." Karin scratched her head nervously, "Doesn't sound like much and you're probably over it but..."
Ah hell, I'm no good at this.

"So you're apologizing." Stefan said. "No worries. Besides, you weren't the reason I was upset anyway. It was....well it was something else." He paused. "Thanks though." He said sincerely.

Karin sighed with relief, "Really? Good to hear...wait what's this 'something else' then? Anything I can help with?"

"It's....personal. Once we're done here, I'll tell everyone. But for now...let's just relax and enjoy." Stefan gave her a smirk. "Thanks again. ...For caring."

"'You should always care for your friends as they care for you. If they would fight hard for your sake then fight harder for theirs,'" Karin recited proudly, "Tamaki-aniki would always tell me that."

"Sounds like she knows a lot. And she taught you well too."

"Yeah," Karin smiled, "Aniki always taught us to look out for one another, and to always help each other out. He made the gang seem like a second family."

Rai sighed as he sat down, "Nothing going on huh," he began to think as he looked out a window.

"I'm sure we can think of something to kill time," Shinta shrugged, "By the way, where's Karin and the bum?"

"Yeah. Family's a good thing to have, no matter what shape or size it is." Stefan shoved his hands in his pockets. "This odd group we have is the first family I've had in a while. Despite arguments...I wouldn't trade it for anything. I mean, we may not even like each other that much, but we've all put our lives on the line for each other."

"Of course," Karin tapped Stefan's arm with her fist and winked, "That's what it means to have a family. Now let's get back to the others."

"Yeah." Stefan smiled and followed her. "So, you got any ideas on what we could do today?"

Karin paused before replying, "Hm..dunno. I got my souvenir for Grandma, we played online last night, we had the fan fight in the park...I got nuthin'. When you think 'vacation' the first thing to come to mind are usually 'beach' or 'picnic.' But the beach seems like an all day thing and we didn't bring anything for a picnic. Hm..."

"Hm...I've never been one for vacations due to the nature of my profession." Stefan joked. "What time does the concert start anyway?"

"I think it was supposed to be 8 or 9ish," Karin said, "I'll have to check."

"Geeze. That late? And it's only 11 now. We got a lot of time to kill." Stefan said.
