IMO, one had the best battle system. The others get needlessly annoying. But if you play the others, do it for the story and not the gameplay. I hated playing through the 2nd in particular.

Yeah I forgot myself, and towards the 2nd one its rediculously over complex, the 3rd one isnt bad the final boss is kinda shitty though.
