Pokemon Trading Card Game

I used to love this stuff, but I dun have cards no more.

That, and TCGs in general are an expensive hobby to get into.

That, and I don't really know anyone I'd be able to play.

I liked to collect some Holo cards, but as much as I love pokemon, I couldn't really get into the card game. Someone at the Pokemon Journey Across America tournament way back when offered to teach me, but I declined. I don't have too many of the cards, except Holos and Promos. Lol.

I played the GBC game to death lol. i was disappointed that we never saw another.

in terms of the real cards, i collected them up through the 2nd gen and some of the 3rd. i didnt really play the game anymore and collecting seemed pointless. I was an alright player. At 11 I put together a cool deck that had a great but risky strategy and when I used it I won alot at those wizards of the coast gatherings every week. memories...

now i have probably over 3000 cards in a giant ziploc bag under my bed.

I never really played the game. I could never understand it. Plus most of the moves required the normal energy star thing, and no one ever had that cause it was like a super rare card.

So I just collected them. My goal was to get the pokemon cards that matched my pokemon team. Charizard was particularly difficult to get. But I got him thanks to Yugioh and trading some skull knight thing.

Uh, the normal energy star means the attack can use any kind of energy. Just sayin'.

Also, I tried a few of those online games against the computer opponents. I dunno about the random aspect of the game-it feels like victory goes to whoever can get the biggest Pokemon out first.

lol same, know how to play but stopped a long time ago. i also have some pretty interesting fake cards.

I used my birthday monies to get a while bunch of these. They are beautiful

I got all sorts of horrifyingly rare cards. Such as

-A shiny Mareep
-A shiny Spoink
-Palkia (!!)
-Cynthia's Rayquaza (Wait what)
-Gengar (!!!)

Tomorrow (Today?) I'm going to an official Pokemon League thingy for the card game. That might be cool.

I'm going to see how my deck stacks up (lol get it) against other people's decks in a series of incredibly dramatic children's card games.

Also I got some more cards and got two different kinds of Dialga in one booster pack. Wow what
