Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"If they can calm her down before things get bad....We'll explain everything after all this Kentaro, we're kinda on a time limit..." HE said solemly.

"No worries. I can wait. I have to wait. For more reasons than one. I'd hate to layer on the concerns but a word of warning. Not sure if my heads all the way back to normal at the moment so if I lose it again just bear with me."

"Alright, we're low on time. No time for arguing. Let's hurry." Stefan began crossing the stream. "What do we have on a time, anyway?"

"3:27" Masuyo said walking slowly.

"You know you can lean on me right?" Yomiko said.

"Ok AGGGGHHH WRONG ARM!!!!!" he said as he tried to use his left arm and it stung. "Other one.......ok thats better." he said putting his arm around Yomiko. "Thanks"

"Um....Karin, a-are you alright?" Stefan asked, feebly attempting to start a conversation with her. Ugh, now's not the time to be trying to flirt with her stupid.... He thought to himself.

"All things considered," Karin said looking at her hand, "I've been better."

"I'm sorry...If I had stayed with you...." Stefan sulked a bit.

"If you stayed with her who knows how things could have turned out." Yomiko said. "Wait.........stayed with her!?"

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Masuyo shouted.

Karin blushed and waved her hands frantically, "Wait. Not like that!"

"IT's not that, but..." He turned to Masuyo and Yomi. "I stopped by her place to see if she was okay...IT got late, so I decided to hang out till the midnight channel. Since I wouldn't have gotten to Masuyo's in time."

"Well......you two seem alot more......close." Yomiko said eyeing the two of them. "Just what exactly did you mean when you said "at least I was already wet"??" she said tauntingly grinning at Karin.

"Ho-Holy Shit..........." Masuyo said in horror. "This aint gonna end well..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" he said falling over laughing

"I-it's not like that...." Stefan blushed, and looked away. "At any rate, can we at least save this for another time? We kinda have a few deadlines here."

Kentaro walks along not participating in the banter..."I'm sorry I couldn't do more healing everyone... but I could barely heal myself after... well after being such an idiot. I've always prided myself on my intelligence but it seems after my shadow forced me to drop my facade ive gone from a fake fool to a psychotic buffon. Im a mental and physical mess. In fact we're all in such bad shape I can't even comprehend how I should be feeling about what we'll soon be facing... I'm... I'm really sorry..."

"The. Rain!" Karin yelled, "You know? The water the falls down and makes clothes wet? Speaking of which," she looked back and forth between Masuyo and Yomiko, "did you two change clothes? I wonder what could have happened to your old clothes, hmm?"

"Just keep it together Kentaro. Focus on the goal ahead. We shouldn't have dragged you into this so early...But we didn't have a choice...." Stefan sighed. "Can we really even do this?" He said to himself.

"...thanks...I hope we can..."

"We will." Stefan smiled. "We can't lose our confidence now. Not when we're gonna need it the most."

Further up ahead was the mouth of the river, Maeko was standing on a rock in the middle of the water. While the mermaid was swimming around her.

"Come now, dear~ Why so stubborn~? This is exactly what you've always wanted isn't it~? A perfect and beautfil fantasy world all to you and and all of your flawlessness~!" The mermaid streatched out her arms, notioning the scenery around them, the starry cosmis skies and clouds, and the sparkling waters of the river.

"S-shut up! What the hell are you talking about!?" Maeko shouted at the mermaid.

"Tsk tsk~!" The mermaid waved her finger at her. "No use in lying or denying it~ This is what you want~ A perfect world, perfect friends, perfect family~ And nothing less, just for you~!"
"I s-said shut up you aquatic bitch!!" Maeko's voice began cracking, she picked up a rock and threw it at the mermaid.

"I think we found our girl." Stefan moved faster. "Hey!"

"E-eh!?" Maeko gasped as she turned around. "Y-you..?"

"Ooh~! How lovely~! You all made it~! Does that mean you all are as perfect as me~?" The mermaid said winking and smirking at the group.

"W-would you just go away!?" Maeko turned back around and threw another rock, missing however.

"Come now~...This is what you want, you're tired of the world and all of it's filth right~? 'Why can't the world be better than this!?' 'Why can't everything just be perfect!?' Do those thoughts ring a bell~?" The mermaid's voice grew more and more stern.

"T-that's not..." Maeko mumbled as she began trembling.

"Oh yes it is. There's nothing good enough for me, I don't want to be friends with anyone less perfect than me~! So I'm just gonna push them and the world all away~! While I dream and fantasize about the perfect world~ No filth~ No downsides~ Everyone's perfect like me~"

"H-how..N-no that's not true~ I've never thought that!!" Maeko yelled, as she began losing her composure.

"What~? Yes it is~! And you know it!" The mermaid laughed. "How do I know this~? Because~...I am you~"

Maeko's eyes widened as she stepped back. "W-what!? N-NO!! I'm not you, you bitch!!"

"Those are the magic words aren't they?" asked Karin as she readied herself.

"....hahaha...HahaHAHA~!!" The mermaid began laughing, and began emitting a dark aura. There was a burst of dark power as dark clouds covered the mermaid.
"A-ahh!!" The force pushed Maeko and blew her back into the water. Unconscious.

The dark smokey clouds dissapoated, reavealing the mermaid's new siren form. It was a large grotesque sea lion-like creature with a mermaids tail and a woman's head.

"Ahahah!! Of course I'm you~! I know everything~! Then there's you all~~" Shadow Maeko turend to the group. "None of you are perfect~! So full of flaws!! Such filthy cur!! You have no right to know or befriend me, you vile things~! I'm PERFECT!! There's no room for one's like yourselves in a perfect place such as this~~ You're just like everything else in that filthy world...So now it's time to push you away!!" Shadow Maeko roared as she splashed in the water, causing a huge wave towards the group, and causing Maeko to float further down the river.

"The fuck you are perfect, and you know why?" Masuyo started.

"Cause Im gonna kick yer assssss!" Yomiko shouted imitating Masuyo's voice.

"God. I need some new taunts." he said. "Anyways." he said stepping forward. "I'll not be dealing with more fucking water thank you." he said as he froze the wave infront of the group.

"Valkyrie!" Karin called her Persona, which rode downstream to catch Maeko.

"Ahahaha~! Ice~ How cute~ Two can play at that! Mabufula!!" Shadow Maeko roared as large ice spikes rose from the water and darted towards theirs walls of ice, shattering them.
