Hurricane Irene

woke up without power, ate some bread and went back to sleep. Powers back now, part of my flowerbeds took a hit but nothing major. I couldve been hangin out on saturday during the rain and had no problems, but the rents wouldn't have it. So much for the biggest hurricane since the 80s. Although i guess its true it f'd over some people closer to the coast. Safe but not sorry I guess. Glad to hear that no one we know died.

I feel sorry for my sis though since this happened on her birthday and on her first weekend at college, they got no power but all the women have the same personality as her so its good in her eyes

We got pretty lucky. We lost cable and internet, but we kept power. So that helped A LOT. No damage to the house or anything.

My Grandma had a big branch fall down in her driveway, but she was with us, doesn't own a car, and it didn't hit anything. So it's all good.

It hit me. I got a concussion from that tree limb and had to go to the emergency room .___.

I lost Internet for 2 days but that's nothing in comparison that happened to next door vermont. Literally the entire southern part of the state was destroyed by the storm. Glad I don't live there.
