Philisophica Debate forums?

So seeing as there hasn't been a post on the forum for almost a whole day, I wanted to propose the idea of discussing theological, moral, and metaphysical ideas.
I thought it would be interesting to hear everyone's opinions and everything.

So yeah, just an idea I wanted to toss around.

Personally I'm not a fan of debates. It usually ends up being two hard headed people who will not be able to convince eachother of anything and will just result in alot of wasted time and energy.

But I also don't need to participate.

Well it wouldn't really be debates perse, just sorta discussions. Our opinions on stuff, rather then us arguing points. I don't really see anybody getting too pissed at each other for this stuff.

And if it does happen, it would give mods something to do. Lol.

as long as people remember to not attack others or over react, i dont see a problem. it does sound interesting.

This is relevant to my interests. Agreement and apathy all around it seems. I think everyone here knows the difference between a healthy debate/discussion and straight out arguing. Just go for it cause IMO the worst case scenario is no one bothers to post in it after awhile. Instead of a whole forum tho, why not just start posting in the general discussion forum and gauge the amount of activity before giving it its own section?
