So..Does anyone really follow/do this anymore?

I was thinking, should the rules for this be edited? Since this isn't as popular as it used to? No one's really chompin' at the bid anymore to claim. I was thinking 1 claim and dice roll a day (maybe even week?) And a month of inactivity results in losing a harem.

Yeah. Month of inactivity before losing people is alot more fair due to decreased overall activeness in the topic.

I guess it'd be fine. As long as it wasn't as chaotic as it was the first time, with 2 freebies and claims everyday. Lol. I'd like to see it just one claim a day and cutting out freebies altogether, personally, and changing how the divorce freebies and trading work.

For starters, nobody traded for freebies.

Divorces were perfectly fine, they never happened till people dropped out anyways AND can only happen once a week.

2 claims a day, still fine. And now with messenger the last spot on the dice can be used (if everyone stays in that is) so yeah. 1 dice a day, not two. Cause unexpected twists to change up strategy is always more entertaining and gets people (at least a few of us) more into it.


Anyways, I forgot to say that im implementing something where the people on the previous one can retain some of their old picks, since we went at each other's throats for it.

Also the being crazy/at each other's throats was the aspect that made the whole damn thing fun. Notice how it died completely when there was no competetion?

Exactly. The essence of drama is conflict, after all. Besides, now you know what's in danger so it should work out better for you, right?

I suppose. Still though, the constant being at each other's throats made the whole thing feel like a chore after some time. It just got old.
And people stopped claiming because they don't have hundred's of characters to claim, simply ran out of characters they liked enough to claim,

Then don't do it if you dont enjoy it. Simple as that really.

It's still a fun thing to do, just the losing of the Harem after some time. It makes me feel I HAVE to claim someone. And when I'm out of characters that I like, then what?

Then you're done? One person after a month. Maybe its just me and other people's life styles, but I find it extremely hard that anyone who plays games, and even watches the slightest amount of anime would go an entire month without seeing one single new character that interests them, or even REMEMBER old people.

I know who wont need it, and I don't, but if you and Lyle want some sort of "Harem Freeze" or whatever, since I know our lists are kinda alot more extensive, then go ahea-

you know what? No. Thats not fair to people who stay in the game. Having a handfull of people jump in, claim people and have them forever sealed off with no hopes of someone who wants them possibly getting them, when THEY stay in the game and the other person doesnt? Thats BS. No Harem Freezes. Not to come off as a douche, but again, I came up with this, im not forcing ANYONE to stay in or participate in it, in the end its everyone else's choice. You all know the rules, you all know what it entails. If you cant, or don't want to keep up, then don't get in in the first place to put you in a situation where it becomes an irritating chore.

...He's got a point. With all the stuff we play, watch and read there shouldn't be any problem. Especially with new stuff coming out or new series to get into.
