New Scan:Battle System Confirmed
This game is using Tales of destiny remake's CC system. A system that I personally, liked very, very much.
Basically what it is is you have a Max amount of CC, and as you lvl up it increases, and artes cost a certain amount of it. The stronger the arte, the more CC it costs, and attacks cost 1 CC per attack. You can link ANY arte and regular attack in combos as you like, as long as you dont run out of CC durring it. Doing things such as guarding with perfect timing and landing critical hits makes you recover CC much quicker, and sometimes instantly. Dunno if they plan to tweak with it in graces or not, though using Destiny's would be just fine.

When I started reading it, I thought: "Wait, isn't this just the same as TP?"
But then I read the rest.
I didn't play Destiny, but this looks like an interesting system. In a way it forces players to add more finesse to their playing style. Rather than just button mashing and spamming Sword Rain Beta while Raine uses charge on me constantly.

You actually had raine waste time on using charge? Lol

In the useless battles inbetween boss fights, yes.
Though for a while, I had no clue that it even existed for the first few playthroughs.

So its like the system in hearts I guess from what I've been reading. Then I like it as well too, since hearts was my favorite.
Re: New Scan:Battle System Confirmed
so wait let me get this straight, you can keep a combo going aslong as you have cc right?

Yeah. Once you run out of CC, you have to wait a second for it to refill again (but as long as you have another person hitting your target, your combo will keep going). The CC goes in a cycle; if your CC range is 4-10, as the battle starts, you'll have 4 CC. Once you use up that 4 CC, wait a second, and it fills up to 5. Use the 5, it goes to 6. Repeat until you hit 10, then after the 10, it goes back down to 4. There's more to it than that, but that's basically the gist of it. No TP at all, meaning use whatever move to your hearts' content.
