Futurama: Good news & Bad news

Good news: Fox has decided to continue the series and bring it back for at least another season.

Bad News: They're replacing 4 of the most important main voice actors:

Billy West - Fry, Professor, Zoidberg, Zap Brannigan, and about 300 other characters.
Katy Segal - Leela
John Dimaggio - Bender + Additional voices
Maurice Lamarche - Kiff, Morbo, Lhrr, Horrible Gelatenous glob, and about 100 other characters.

Personally, it wouldn't be worth bringing back Futurama if they replaced them. Fox says that "It's unfortunate, but we can't meet their salary demands."

YOU SPEND ABOUT 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS ON THOSE AMERICAN IDOL FUCKTARDS AND THEIR SHOW IS ONE OF THE MOST DEGRADING THINGS IN OUR SOCIETY. IT GAINS YOU GOD'S MONEY, AND YOU "CAN'T MEET THEIR SALARY DEMANDS!??!?!" FUCK YOU FOX. I can't imagine that Matt Groening would agree to that. And I bet he and a lot of the other staff will fight for them. It wouldn't even be worth bringing it back if they got new voice actors. This is something that Disney would do with one of their cheap money cash in bullshit shows. It would just make Futurama into a money making device. Not the actual Futurama that all the fans love.

It pisses me off.

It's a terrible idea from a financial standpoint.

You'll need at least 4 people to cover the voices that Billy West did. And you'd need at least 7 in order to meet the quality of varried voices that he did. Maurice LaMarche is the same way. And Katey Segal's voice is too unique to just replace. John Dimaggio isn't too flexible with his voice, but he can be as well. I mean, he does Bender's voice, and then he does someone like Barbatos Slim, which sounds NOTHING like him.

Oh yeah, I think LaMarche does Calculon too.

Plus this isn't mentioning the fact that you'd lose 75% of the fans. So you'd get 25% of the viewers at best. So you would profit even less from it.

This sounds terrible, but maybe they'll have good replacements?

If not then I hope they explode before broadcasting the first episode.
