"That shadow," Shinta began with one eye open, "He was tougher than anything we fought before. To be honest I'm not entirely back at 100% myself." Shinta shrugged and continued, "I have a bad feeling that this isn't over and I'm sure there'll be stronger shadows over the horizon. Do you think that you'll be able to keep everyone safe next time?

"Being honest," Rai said thinking back to the fight with the shadow, "That ability I used, I don't know if I can even use it at will, and even when I am able to use it, it exhausted me greatly." he paused, "I don't think this is over either, it's probably far from over, but I think we need to be careful in the future, and try and do what we can, we may need to start going into that place more often to get stronger."

I guess that's the best I can hope for, Shinta sighed. Shinta turned and headed back to the others, "I'll be counting on you then. After all, you're the main character of this story."

He had apparently been holding it the entire time.

He was muttering to himself.

"Some hospital this is. His fuckin' ribs are fucked up, for God's sake. If no one comes out here pretty soon I'm gonna go bust some heads, I swear to God."
