"Well, I guess everything in this town is a little off beat." Stefan turned around. "So where are you headed?"

'Probably the chinese food shack" Masuyo replied.

"Sounds...expensive..." Stefan checked his pockets. "Er....I...forgot to go to the bank yesterday, can you cover me?"

"I already said I was.........." Masuyo replied

"SWEET!" Stefan caught himself. "Er. I mean, thanks!"

"uh. its just lunch. Is it THAT big of a deal?" Masuyo asked Stefan

"Er. Well, it IS free."

"So how are you sir," Rai said trying to break the piercing stare, but Fujioka-san seemed unamused.

"I am fine," the stare was unwavering and he answered indifferently picking up a newspaper and reading while the smell of food came from the kitchen.

Rai resumed waiting by looking around the room at decorations, "I bet they are all having a great time now." he laughed to himself.

"And? You've never had anything free before?" Masuyo asked.

"No. Actually."

"Oooooook? Well then congrats. Im buying you lunch. Lets go." he said as he began walking towards the diner

"Cool. The name is Stefan." Stefan adjusted his hat and put his hands in his pockets.

"Masuyo Mito. This is Kishin." Masuyo said introducing himself and Kishin. "Its just around the corner"

Kishin nodded at the newcomer.

"Ok we're here." Masuyo said as they arrived at the diner.

"Nice..." Stefan wiped a little drool off his face, hoping that Kishin and Masuyo wouldn't notice. "Er. So...what's good here?"

"Just about anything. Oi! Oji-san!" Masuyo yelled as he walked in.

"Aiyaaaa! Masu-kun I havent seen you in weeks! I was worried I lost a regular!"

"Heh. You kidding? Nothing beats your rainy day specials. Anyways, i've got some friends with me today so we'll be ordering alot. Can we get 3 beef bowls to start?" Masuyo asked the man behind the counter. "Grab a chair" Masuyo told Stefan.

"Nice. What are you guys having?" Stefan said, bright eyed as he held a fork in his right hand, and two in his left.

"Well, I just ordered us three beef bowls to start. Actually.........you seem so hungry that....... gimme a sec!" Masuyo said as he went to talk to the cook. He then returned to the table with a wide grin on his face.

"Stefan! I just enroled you in the Mega Beef Bowl Challenge!" Masuyo said full of glee. "I ALMOST beat it once, but passed out at the end. I can tell by looking at you that you havent had a good meal in a few days, so im paying for you. Im sure you'll devour the death bowl! Now have at it!" Masuyo said as he pushed stefean over to the front counter where the monstrously sized bowl full of rice, meat and other things waited for him.

"Well, uh, that was pretty generous of you, Masuyo..." said Kishin.
"Stefan, right? What do you think? Can you actually handle that much food?"

"Hm. Then let's get started." Stefan cracked his knuckles and started to dig up the food in the bowl.

"Jesus christ he's mutilating it. Ah well, we havent eaten since stalker rescue so time to dig in myself!" Masuyo said as he began eating his beef bowl.

"Grahph! Snarph! Mragaph!!" It wasn't the most graceful display, but Stefan was devouring his meal. "Giffmi mrr! Kypit cunniph!"

Kishin tried to eat his own food, but kept getting distracted by Stefan's incredible eating abilities.

Stefan paused for a moment. He belched loud enough to quiet the entire restaurant. "Alright. Made room for more!" He went back to his towering meal.
