Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"If you want to swim around in a sea of trash where snake or shark shadows will grab you and pull you under then you die, thats all you. I prefer a straightforward fight, then press on." Masuyo said not wanting to reenter the sea of trash outside

"Let me guess," Shinta sighed, "The first was greatest defense, then it was greatest speed, now it's greatest offense right?"

"Well duh." Masuyo said. "Problem is...........out of the three of us, our best offense is a shovel. This is one of the few times I wouldn't mind Rai's presence." Masuyo said remembering Rai's endless barrage of undefeatable Ziodynes.

"...It's not as bad as all that. This is a big, wide open area, so we can shoot anything that shows up with magic from a distance, most likely."

"Don't worry," Shinta shrugged, "if worst comes to worst Natsuyama'll just come 'n save us at the last second. Well me 'n Kishin might be killed off to establish the Shadow as a threat."

"Well why the hell would you guys die before me? Im the one who heals remember?" Masuyo said nervously, yet laughing

"Exactly," Shinta nodded, "you'd be the one who revives us with a new technique learned through your grief and desire to save your friends. See? It all works out."

"...Fufufufu....By stepping into this arena, you've already sealed your fates..."

The entrances to the arenas sealed off, and the arena took on a dark hue. Though the space was wide open, nothing could be seen other than the three of them. Still, an ominous oppressive force filled the area.

"This guy sure likes making things extravagant doesnt he?" Masuyo said annoyed .

Shinta's eye twitched, "Yeah this is really getting old." Did he really just use a "your fate is sealed" line?

"So wheres the stupid thing so we can beat it up?" Masuyo said impatiently

"Look out guys, if this is the toughest thing he's got, it could be troublesome.
It might take a whole ten seconds to kill."

Sorry for not making things long enough for you Catbread. Don't you know I've always had that problem?

There was a rumble. Twenty shadow hands reached out from the ground and grabbed Masuyo. It started pulling him into the shadows.

"Ok is this guy gay for me or something? Everything seems to grab,touch or constrict me here." Masuyo said looking at Shinta

Shadow hands came out and grabbed Kishin too.

"Well thanks a lot. This is your fault Masuyo, you know that?" Kishin said, hacking at the hands with his shovel.

The stands of the arena shifted, as the seats became sharp teeth.

"Fufufu....Don't you see? This entire arena is a shadow. And you are it's next feast."

".........kill it from the inside I suppose is what we do now." Masuyo said as he fell into the mouth.

"Yeah...'cuz havin' it eat you is less gay," Shinta joked as he summoned his Persona "Hama!" Angel appeared and launched beams of light to cut the shadow hands.

"Uh...apparently Masuyo kinda fell into a mouth. Should we be trying to get him out, or something?" asked Kishin, now freed from the shadow hands.

"Well im still kinda hanging on" Masuyo said a little inside of the mouth

"All right, I'm going to try and pull him out. Try to keep anything weird from attacking me, okay?" he asked Shinta, as he started edging closer to the mouth.

The shadow rumbled a low pitch growl, and released it's hold on Masuyo.

"Never mind."

"Uh okay." Masuyo said climbing out of the mouth. "So now what."
