Favorite Five Man Band?

A Five Man Band is one of the most common groups found in any form of media.

It is comprised of...

The Hero - The Main Character of course. Frequently an Idiot Hero, The Chosen One, an Action Survivor, The Messiah and in worse case senarios A big fat Mary Sue.

The Lancer - The side kick who plays off the the main character's powers and personality (Will be smart if main character is dumb, Will be an Anti-Hero if main character is an Idealist, Will use a Lance if main character uses swords etc. etc.). Also likely to be The Rival to the main character and the love interest of The Chick if The Hero is not.

The Big Guy - The most physically inclined of the five man band, usually the best fighter but most subject to The Worf Effect. Not always any larger then the other members of the Five Man Band.

The Smart Guy - The most intelligent of the Five Man Band, depending on the setting he is either a Cyborg, a Mage or a Hacker.
If he is also as strong as The Big Guy he's a Badass Bookworm.

The Chick - The one with boobs. Main Love Interest for the Main Character assuming he isn't Train or Ichigo.
Likely a Staff Chick, Barrier Warrior, and if the Lancer is an Anti-Hero his Morality Pet. In anime, expect this character type to be a Love Freak or a Tsundere. The Chick is also the first place to look for Fanservice assuming the Lancer isn't female.

Also these five will occasionally be joined by another known as...

The Sixth Ranger - Varies from group to group, but as a constent is usually A) A Former Enemy and B) More Subject to The Worf Effect then The Big Guy.
