Mass Effect RP?

*Is totally not desperate to have a working RP.

So yeah. I know that people play it, and I know that there's a lot of material that could be covered outside the main plot. Like how Saren, Shepard, and Nihilus are the only spectres you ever meet. So there's probably more.

But that's just one angle. The setting for the RP would take place in the two years between ME 1 and ME 2, and will probably consist of a small group of C-sec soldiers or something, and we're wimping out the remnants of the geth army. For now. DUN DUN DUN!!!

Still working out the details, but right now I'm interested in seeing which people would be interested. And which people would post more than once before leaving. *Glares at TLS.*

I'm about to get start the first one, so after I play through it and start on the second one I will think about it.

So that would make about, 5 people then still not enough for a viable rp sadly, would be interesting if you could get it working.

I would think that we could have people have multiple characters. 3 at the most.

Yeah that might work out depending on how we do it and such, would require a bit of planning and stuff.

So your wanting to base this in C-Sec or some other branch of the mass effect universe, could always do a group of co-operative military group as well.

I'm thinking something along the lines of a special task group. Maybe they start out with 2 guys working for Anderson, and then they hire some mercs or something. Maybe recruits from C-sec and stuff.

So 2 Alliance operatives plus C-Sec/Mercs/Specialists

I have played and beaten both Mass Effects and enjoyed there story and the characters involved.

I think this idea died a long time ago.

Well, I wouldn't say: 'It died.' The problem is that we never got enough people. It would have ended up as me, Len, and Rozen. Which wouldn't be much of an RP. Adding another person would be welcome, but all considered with RPs and people dropping out, I would like to get at least 5 people before we got started with it. Even with each person having 2 characters.

Not too many people have. I think Bishop played it, but he doesn't show up on the site that often. And I doubt he'd do an RP.

Do i need to play 1 to get 2? Cuz they announced 2 for the PS3, so i was gonna get it.

It's better if you play 1. So you can get backstory and get to make your own save transfer. But you don't technically NEED 1 to get it.

However, I recommend playing 1. And playing it first. Cause 2 things:
1. Wrex
2. Captain Anderson as Council member.

Yeah as Lyle said and the starting bonus for transfer is worth it.
