"Guess i've got no choice." Masuyo said as he took Kentaro from Maeko. "Chump." he complained.

"Ahahahah im just screwing with you Stefan. We're just moving Kentaro into your room." she said handing Stefan his money back. "Actually....." she took back 10 thousand yen, "Thats for when we first met and you swiped my wallet from me." she said sticking her tounge out playfully.

"Actually, it may be a good fishing spot. The water gets pretty deep there so there may be a school of fish around there." Masuyo pointed out. "Oh should we drop off your pole at our weapons dealer?" he asked Maeko.

"Well, I only watched it since Masuyo got home from the hospital, I havent seen anything." Yomiko said.

"Well i was in an empty room so I watched it every night, and saw nothing. But still something seems off." he pondered. "But that can wait for later!"

"H-hey!" Yomi walked further away. "I was a poor starving man! I gave the money back!!" He ran after her, hoping for his money back.

"...Sounds good." Maeko smiled again. "Yes, we should. That rod is...important."

"Yeah I figured. Actually what is everyones most prized possession?" Masuyo asked. "We know Maeko cherishes her fishing tools, that pole to be exact."

"Me? I'd say my swimsuit from the Kyoto trip." Yomiko said. "I'll never forget all of the insanity that happened there."

"Obviously you all-" nene started

"I am not a posession." Masuyo coldly said.

"Funny, because thats exactly what you said to that one guy in Kyoto." Shinta said calmly. "See that? Thats mine." as you pointed at Asakura, if I recall correctly."

"Goddammit Shinta." Masuyo groaned. "I guess this kendama of mine. Its been from here to hell and back with you all. Then again I wouldn't forget all this mind rape and shit if I WANTED to......" he added.

"Yes.." Maeko nodded. "It's really only the rod that's special to me.."

"Well I dont really have anything......" Tsubasa said looking down.

"Besides us." Masuyo said. "Oh wait my harem! I cherish all of you beautiful respectful ladies!" Masuyo said spinning in a circle smiling.

"Yeah yeah." Yomiko said rolling her eyes.

"We must be the ultimate harem!!!!" Nene shouted.

"DONT ENCOURAGE HIM!" Yomiko shouted hitting Nene on the head.

"Well...honestly, my hat." He adjusted his hat accordingly. "I dunno why, I just found it somewhere one day, so it's not like it's of any significance...but...I kinda feel like it's part of me. Like a kinship type deal." He laughed. "Sounds kinda stupid I guess."

Maeko glared at Masuyo coldly. She then turned to Stefan. "There's nothing stupid at all about it. Everyone cherishes something, for one reason or another. Hm, maybe your inner mind sees it as a sign of how long a journey you've had over the years. As like, a sentimental thing."

"Nah. I can level with ya there." Shinta said. "Masu here is attached to a children's toy. Im sure a hat isnt much worse." he said with a slight chuckle.

"Well you obviously dont seem to cherish anything besides that laugh of yours." Karin stated.

"......so it seems." Shinta said. "Anyways didn't your grandmother want you to bring dinner back?"

"Oh crap you're right!" Karin shouted as she darted off. "See you all later!!" she shouted as she ran from the group.

"Well......I guess i'll head back too and help her grandmother get the dishes ready. Later." Shinta said as he nodded and left also.

"Seee yaaaaaaahhhhhh." Masuyo said.

"Its so akward that he lives with her now." Yomiko said. "After everything thats happened that is."

"I'll say." Nene said putting a hand on her hip. "But you know what they say! Forbidden love is the most exciting!"

"Forbidden love, huh?" Stefan repeated. "...Well, if it works out for them, I'll be happy."

"Hm...love, huh?" Maeko mumbled to herself, looking away.

"Yep! Love!" nene shouted.

"Haha. Like what i thought i felt for Dahni." Masuyo said laughing

"Can we PLEASE not bring her up?" Yomiko growled as she crossed her arms.

"Looks like he hit a nerve." Tsubasa said worried for Masuyo's life at the moment

"Eh, I dunno. I just want to focus on getting stronger for a little while. ...That way I can protect what I care about." He thought to himself for a bit. "What happened between you and that Dahni girl anyway?"

"...I'm staying here for awhile." Maeko said walking off from the group, towards the riverbank.

"I hear ya. Priorities. Cant hate you for that." he said patting Stefan on his shoulder. "Well basically I thought she was "THE ONE" because I fell down the stairs at school, and everyone laughed at me and Dahni was the only one who helped me up. Shinta was in the bathroom so he wasnt there with me." he said chuckling. "And she was pretty cute so I decided to ask her out cause I gave myself the illusion that I was in love. She laughed at me and I felt like a complete dipshit." he said scratching his head. "Heheheh......" he laughed nervously.

"It sounds like it still hurts him." Nene whispered to Tsubasa.

"Yeah......maybe thats why Yomi-nee is so mad." she whispered back.

"Well wasnt that heartwarming." Yomiko said coldly.

"E-eh? Oh. Alright, see ya later Maeko. Good seeing you today." He waved. His mind instantaneously went back to where it was before. "Huh. She doesn't seem like she's a cruel person. But whatever. I dunno the bitch. She rejected you, she's no friend of mine." He raised his hands. "Still, you're better off with Yomi now anyway."

"See ya." Masuyo said. "Oh yeah do you have the rod or is it back at the house? I'll take it to our guy, that way he wont charge.....as much." he said remembering how their last visit broke the entire team of all of their money.

"Shinta living with Karin huh?" He said softly. "Not like I expect anything to happen with her grandma there....But...." Stefan sighed,

"Who knows. You'll probably find someone else?" Yomiko said. "Theres tons of fish in the........riverbank." she said looking over at Maeko smiling. "Use your newfound publicity to find a girl or something." she said. "Or you could fight for Karin. I mean I cant see her having sex with a guy she shot in the gut honestly."

"Hehehehe. She shot one off into Shinta." Masuyo said grinning.

"EWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Tsubasa shouted.

"Wait, how did you understand what he was saying?" Nene asked tsubasa.

"......I......er...........I!" Tsubasa said turning beet red and looking down covering her face

after getting the clothes, aoi decided to take the long way home. along the way, aoi started to set up a tiny place along the path to practice fortune telling, with a sign that read 'fortunes for 100 yen'.

wonder what they think was so disgusting.... probably a bug or something silly like that... thought aoi after hearing the shout.


(100 yen = 1 dollar)

Kentaro slowly wakes up while on Masuyo's back. suddenly, "STTEEEEEVE! DONT FUCK WIT' MEEEEE!" he thrashes about and they fall over. "Huh? where?... I LOST?!!! Dammit!" he punches the ground and hangs his head in shame "oh... uh...Thanks for carrying me out Masu-bro."

"Oh I didnt. She did." he said pointing to Maeko who sat alone on the riverbank. "Anyways, lets go back and change. And find out about Tsu-Tsu's newfound knowledge." he said grinning at Tsubasa.

"YES. LETS." Nene demanded.

"..........Uh.......Uhm..........." Tsubasa said as she trembled

"Hoo boy." Yomiko said as she exhaled deeply. "This'll be great." she said following the rest back to the apartments

Shinta followed Karin out of Junes. As the distance between them shortened Shinta asked an important question, "So why did you lie?"

"When?" Karin asked back.

"I thought I told you what I cherish back then. Or have you forgotten?" Karin stopped walking and let Shinta pass her. Shinta stopped and turn to Karin, whose eyes were obscured by a heavy shade as she looked downward. "Because...that was a lie wasn't it?" She walked passed Shinta, not even looking at him. Shinta sighed and looked at the sky before replying, "...Yeah. I guess it was."

Kentaro lags behind pissed at himself for losing.
"That fucker steve! Who the hell does he think he is? Acting like he gets me. Lookin down on my way of life. He fuckin thinks im irresponsible doesnt he? Fuckin bum. I made my own success. Less than a month on my own and im already back on my feet. I deserve a little fun. I can dick around all i want. i dont hurt anybody. Fuck. Its not like i cant give the fucker his due. hes a street kid it aint his fault. but that fuckin bloated head of his. does he even realize half the shit that comes outta his mouth? its not just bein uneducated, the dude actually sees the world that way..."

without realizing it Kentaro has turned himself around and is stomping around the riverbank. Suddenly he slips on some rocks and goes tumbling down to where Maeko sits with her fishing gear landing in the shallows.

"FUCK!" he sits in the water and yells at the sky.

aoi, hearing a splash, and someone swearing, closed up shop and went to see if everything is ok, to see someone in the water, with a girl who seems to be fishing. "are you ok down there?" aoi asked to the wet person.
