Persona 4 RP Phase 2

"....Screw it, I know it's a bad idea, but I'm going in by myself. I need training." Maeko said getting up from the table, putting her book away. She grabbed her things and made her way to the electronics department.

"If it's perfect for you. I'll meet you there." He said. The voice faded out.

"Hmm? Maeko, isn't it?" Dahni asked, at Junes, in her work uniform, walking up to Maeko.

"Hm? Something you need?" Maeko asked turning to her.

"N-nothing in particular...You just looked kinda lonely.." Dahni said. She also had a really scary look on her face...

"Don't worry about it, I'm used to it." Maeko replied as she turned to walk off.

"A-are you sure?" She asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I can help if you need something..."

"Well I'm here," Karin said leaning on a building by the rice fields, "guess I got no choice but to wait." To be honest I'm not even sure if this is the right thing to do. Still if he tries anything... within Karin's fist a thin needle of ice formed, I should be able to manage.

"No need for hostility. Even if this meeting were to go bad, it would only end in a brief disagreement followed by us both walking away." Behind her, a cloaked figure stood. "I apologize for the disguise, but I'm only comfortable revealing myself unless our deal ends positively."

"Yes I'm sure." Maeko replied shrugging Dahni's hand off. "No offense, but I don't think it's anything you could help with."

"Not gonna lie, I kinda wanna laugh," Karin said plainly, "You've got this whole 'Deep Throat' thing goin' on in a hick town like this. It's just...sorry. So what's your deal?"

"Laugh if you like. The situation does seem ridiculous from an outsider's view." He spread his hands. "Here's my proposition. I come to the table with information that someone soon will be thrown into the TV. I will provide you with strength, and a bird's eye view of the battlefield, allowing you to breeze through the battle with little difficulty. All I ask in return is that you keep quiet about me for now, and keep an eye on Shinta. And of course, save the person that's stuck in the TV."

"Uh-huh..." Karin paused, "wait someone else is gonna get kidnapped? Who? By who? I thought the kidnapper was killed at the hospital."

"It's a group of people. To be perfectly honest, I was part of the group until Al was killed. I was persuaded by the power it could give me. After Al died....I realized it was more than some game. I'm still putting out a facade of working with them, but they don't tell me much information. And I can't put my investment into your group until I'm certain you can win. I don't know who's going to be kidnapped, only that someone will. I could take an educated guess."

"...Oh well, nothing to say I guess." Maeko mumbled, walking away from Dahni.

"Okay this is stupid. Whats taking her? And why isn't Shinta answering?" Yomiko complained.

"Fuck if I know. I'll try calling them again I guess." Masuyo said calling Shinta.

"Fuckit i'll call Karin." she said pulling out her phone

"I...I...I'm sorry..." She bowed to Maeko and walked away.

"Geeze...she's too nice, it's almost saddening." Maeko mumbled looking back at Dahni as she walked off to the electronics.

"..." Dahni clenched her fists, a determined look on her face, and quietly followed after Maeko, making sure to remain out of sight.

Maeko continued to the electronics. She stood before a large flat screen. "I hope I'm doing this right..Last time I was in there, it was when they saved me.." She thought, staring at the screen.

The tv section? That's all this was about? Buying a TV...? What about that other guy?" She thought, thinking about when she met Stefan in the electronics department.

"I didn't want to go in alone...But, Toshiyuki said.." Maeko clentched her pole and harpoon. She stood back and cautiously looked around.

"Fuck! We have to do more of this?" Karin scratched her head in frustration before feeling her phone vibrate, "What now?" Karin saw that it was Yomiko and answerred, "Hey, Yomi. What's up?"

Shit! Shinta immediately declined the call, he saw that it was from Masuyo and sent a text, "Can't talk now. What's up?"

"Just wondering whats the hold up." both Yomiko and Masuyo responded. "The head fucker isn't talking to you is he?"

"...Hmm." The figure glanced his eyes backward. "...Your friends seem to have the best intention....But you may have been followed miss Karin. End the conversation as soon as you can."

"Head fucker?" They both responded.
