I think it's finally time to put the ol girl down....

Many of you know about my issues with my 360. The fact that it barely reads discs, and even if it does, if the game isn't set to the harddrive then it cuts out during the playtime.

I've tried several remedies for this. Opening it up to try to get the dust out, shaking it around so it would read the discs, putting the games to harddrives.

But finally today, I turned it on and got the error message: "Error 74"

I've looked up the error, and found that a remedy for it would be to let the console sit without any attachments for a half hour, but I think it's only a temporary solution at best. I have some money now, and I have two harddrives, so I'll just crack down and buy the cheap X-box arcade at a gamestop. They could use the money now.

So, R.I.P. My current 360. We've had many wonderous adventures together, from the capital wasteland, to the city of L4D, to the outer reaches of the Adephagos. Goodnight thy prince, and a thousand angels sing thee to thy rest.

If it works after the suggested 30 minutes, then yeah probably. But I wouldn't hold my breath over it.

anyway its a shame though..my xbox tried to fail with me and i said im gna spend more time with ps3 and she got jelous and started working again
