Project Chronicles (My RPG project)

Okay so I have recently acquired a program that helps you learn how to make video games, mind you its nothing complex basically on the level of end of SNES and beginning of PSX graphics. I am going to attempt at making a game for this forum with the members as characters. The game is going to be similar to a Tales of game. I don't really have any working character lists, so if anyone wants to sign up to be protagonists or antagonists post your preference, I'll be asking for more later but for now I want to know how many characters I could possibly have.

Also if anyone wants to assist me with this endeavor post what you could help me with on this.

Never typing this much on a PSP ever again.

What kind of help do you need?

The only skill of mine that I think could help you is my ability to write things and think of things to write about...but maybe I can help in some other way as well.

If you put me in the game I don't really care where. I want to be a boss Wherever I am most needed, I suppose. Being evil is so much fun oh yes

I'll be a protagonist. I'll also do any photoshop character art/graphics or sprites if you need it.

Can Help With: Recoloring and VERY basic customs.

Alright I'll get the basic size for the sprites soon, also Cat you may be able to help with some writing, also Princess those full body pictures you have done in the past of the custom FE characters and such those are what I would need for character art.

Alright, do you need like FE9/10 body sprites as well? Or just concept art?

I'm not sure if protagonist would be more fitting for me or antagonist. I was the main antagonist in some old story Masu made, but whatever. You decide on this one.

As for help, I can only help with writing and stuff.

@ Princess, concept art would be fine I can make anything else I need more than likely, though I may end up asking for something in the future.

Also to make it a bit more interesting when I have a large enough cast, about 8 or 9 on both groups, I am going to start a poll for deciding who the main character is going to be.

Alright so so far my progress on making the game world is I'd say about 10%, the map kinda goes for a while then just stops suddenly. Oh yeah and a town with 3 people.

Alright well the antagonists are lacking at the moment, though the Protagonists are coming together, one more protagonist slot is open.

Alright I have a job for someone who doesn't mind looking for stuff, I need someone who can look for sprites of enemies used in 2-D Final Fantasy and Tales of games.

Okay so I'm setting up the first minor boss, I call it minor cause its just an animal, I think Masu will like the name of the said monster, if all goes well I will have a working demo-like thing late today.

Sadly having a working demo will have to be put on hold, while I did manage to get the first minor boss working, there are some issues I'd like to workout before making a small demo video out of this.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this but, I need music, anyone willing to compile a whole assortment of music in mp3 format for me I would greatly appreciate it. Also put what the music would best coincide with, battle, certain cutscene etc.

Tales of or anything you find to be fitting, post composer and such.

I am thinking on that actually. Also what about making Tres a antagonist since he could be a rival etc.

Hmm...yeah that Hero/Villain list is pretty one sided, isn't it...
And it looks like I was the only one to show actual enthusiasm for my position

Also to people who have posted for being in, can you post what kind of personality you want to have as well as your fighting style etc.
