Because I like doing things that are ironic for irony's sake.

So I got this book called "And Another Thing" which is part 6 of 3 in the Hitchhiker's Guide series. Eoin Colfer wrote it cause Douglas Adams isn't really around anymore.
I wasn't sure it was such a good idea but from what I've heard, Colfer's taking it really seriously.
And so far the book is all right. I've only read uh one chapter so far tho

Gah don't spoil And Another Thing, plz, I haven't read it yet Dx

Books are awesome, I wish I had more time to read... though I did manage to read Dune during college by using it as a sleep aid xD (it's hard to sleep directly after using the computer for a while, so I'd just read a chaptzzzzzzz...)

I have read a lot of old science fiction books that Nesaan. I do like to read Shakespeare, though I have difficulty with understanding some of the lines.

Other than that I usually read Japanese novels and classic plays.

Not too into books. I do like reading though, I've read a few novels. I just don't read them very often.

I like to read every once in a while.

Books are expensive though. Games are too, but they're more interactive.

I'm too busy surfing the internet to read books.

But really, I love to read a good book. I just don't find the time to invest any more. When I did read books, I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I have a lot more books to read...have to do it sometime.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory rocked.

In fact, all of that guy's books rocked. Fantastic Mr. Fox was sweet as hell.

Yeah, Roald Dahl writes entertaining books. I only have Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and George's Marvelous Medicine, though, but both are amazing books. I think I like Charlie a bit more because it's about sweets and such. I've always wondered what the sequel, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, was about.

Yes

Yes

James w/ fruit objects, girl w/ psychic powers, adventures in housebreaking & cannibalism, the one with poaching...

There was also one with witches in it
That one was good too

Wait...George's Marvelous Medicine? Damn I forgot about that one
Good call

Oh and also, the plot of the elevator one is basically that they go into space and run away from flying blob monsters and then go to hell and get invited to the White House. Pretty much

Ahhh... I am home. Meaning mostly in the library, and sometimes at my house. I wonder how long it takes them to notice that whoever used to check out everything Tamora Pierce and Timothy Zahn have on the shelves (and hide anything Twilight under the couch in the teen room, since burning it'd result in fines) has returned...
