3D Dot Game Heroes (!!!!!)

Son of a bitch I had no idea they made games this good
It's...indescribably amazing. The only reason I'm not playing it now is because my thumb is starting to wear out.

I should try to describe it though so here goes:

It's Link to the Past for the PS3.
The whole thing is a giant parody of Zelda.
I swear to god this is the best Zelda game I've played since Ocarina of fucking Time.
They took all the classic Zelda elements and fixed everything wrong with them, then ADDED MORE.
So you got 6 magic orbs, empty bottles, Moblins, Tekitites, Pieces of Heart Life Shards, the Forest Temple, the boomerang...
I even saw a hookshot point. Fucking yes my favorite item ever

But also...there's magic. Lots of it. You can actually choose to play as a magic-user.
And you can fight old bosses whenever you want.
And you can cycle through your inventory without having to pause or nothin'.
And you can upgrade your sword until it covers the entire screen.

AND...there are like a billion playable characters.
Including what looks like the President's mech from Metal Wolf Chaos.
And a ninja...who's just a snorkel sticking out of the ground. See, he attacks from below.
AND...you can make or modify your own characters!!!

On top of all that, the game is filled with references to old games.
For example, Dic, the inventor, gave me the dash boots, saying "GET EQUIPPED WITH DASH BOOTS!"
Yeah I laughed at the guy's name until I read it backwards
AND since the game's a parody, all the dialogue is...special.
One villager asked if I wanted the code for infinite money. Then he told me I had to find it on my own. Dang

So to sum up this game is a fucking masterpiece and everyone with a PS3 has to buy it right now do it do it do it
