Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

Masuyo's attacks broke through the wall of orchestra members suddenly and strongly struck the shadow.

"What the HELL was that?" he asked Stefan confused.

"GYAAA! YOU-NOOOOOOOOO shouted the shadow as it turned and felt the blow from stefan. It was so powerful it snapped the strings that were suspending it in the air and it fell over on its back and lied there.

"Here's our chance!! Let's do it!" Stefan screamed.

Shinta twirled his knife and cheered, "Nice hit. Now let's finish this up 'kay?"

"BWAARRGGGH!!!!" Masuyo shouted as he started to rush the shadow untill he saw the remaining orchestra members gather around the helpless shadow.

"PROTECT.PROTECT.PROTECT............"




"Man. Im so tired of walking home all the time. Why dont mom or dad ever pick me up? I hate them so much............." Masuyo grumbled to himself as he walked down the river bank.
" And my 14th birthday is soon too. They're gonna ignore me like the last 6 years im sure of it." he kicked a rock, then heard a growl behind him. he turned to see a Fox approaching a helpless injured mother bird that had hurt its wing. There was no hope for it, it couldnt move and the fox was ready to eat it.
"Thats horrible. I bet that bird didnt do anything." Masuyo said as he began to walk off to avoid having to see the terrible end for the mother bird. He then heard three more chirps. he turned to see the bird's young offspring trying to fend off the fox to protect its helpless mother.
"They dont stand a chance. They're gonna die too. No! I'll save them!" he said as he grabbed a handful of rocks and threw them at the fox. The fox then chased him off and Masuyo took shelter in a tree till the fox left...........................five hours later.

"..........I cant." Masuyo said as he stopped his charge. "I know its a shadow........but I cant attack something as helpless as this. Its still a part of Yomi. It just.......feels wrong."

"Its........alright." Yomiko said grabbing Masuyo's hand from where she was laying on the ground near the shadow. "I understand now. This is all my fault. I made everyone worry, and then they got hurt on my account. All because of my own selfishness." Yomiko said as she started to cry. "I never really meant to use you Masuyo. I was interested in finding out what you all were doing, and I did hang out with you at first because of that, but your friends seem like such nice people. Even Stefan. He thought enough of myself and your feelings to show me this world first hand to ensure I wouldn't stick my nose in this, so please, dont be angry with him. If anyone hate me. I used you at first. I knew she was telling the truth, but I couldn't imagine losing the only friends I have here!!!" she said as she hid her face in shame.

"......It's alright." Masuyo said with a combination of joy and sadness. "Im sorry Stefan. You went out of your way to do this when you could have just bummed around at the shrine, and yet I walked around calling you a dirtbag casually. Im so friggin stupid."

"Eh. Don't worry about it. It's not like I was without blame either." Stefan looked away, feeling a bit embarrassed that he was complimented. "Still. I have to apologize to you too Yomiko. I promised to protect you, and I screwed up royal." Stefan sighed. "....I noticed something here though. WE all wound up splitting up at some point, and we ended up nearly dying. Once we started to work together, we got pretty freaking awesome. There's gotta be a lesson in that." Stefan stretched his arms. "You should probably make up with your shadow before it tries to kill us all again."

"That'd be nice." Masuyo said as he helped Yomiko to her feet. But the shadow had already dispersed by the time she was standing up fully.

"A.........card? This is what you all used to summon personas right?" she said as she held the glowing card in her hand. "It feels so.........familiar. Like i've had this power all along and just haven't tapped into it."

"Basically." Masuyo said. "Well since thats all done and over with, can we go back?"

"Sure," Shinta gave Masuyo a thumbs up sign, "just let me fix Strawberry Head over here." He walked over to the still shell-shocked Karin, "Hey, it's all over. We're heading back."
"What...how...that thing..." Karin still couldn't fully register what was going on.
"How do I put this? Mmmm...well that's what we call a Shadow. It's, like, all the bad stuff we try to hide from people given form. People get thrown into TVs and attacked by Shadows, but we beat them up and then they become Personas which are like Shadows but we can use them to help people. I guess that's about it. So you just saw us fight Yomi's shadow and then it became her Persona. So now she can do this." Shinta slashed his card and his Persona appeared. "...Mine used to be a lot less scary looking but he's harmless." Shinta quipped as his Persona vanished. His eyes flashed for a moment after it was gone.

"What the hell was that?" Masuyo said to shinta. "Why did your eyes just flash?"

Shinta blinked in confusion, "My eyes?"

"You summoned your persona and then-WAIT."

"He started saying and acting differently everytime he used his persona. It has to be that!

"Hey........what's your name?"

Shinta raised an eyebrow, "You hit your head? It's Shinta. You know that."

Well at least he's back to the one we all know for now. We should just leave before he uses his persona to avoid extra problems

"Cool. Sorry the shadow hit me on the head durring the fight. Anyways." he said picking Yomiko up off her feet. "Everyone ready?"

"Sure," Shinta nodded, "but do you think you could go on ahead? There's something I wanna talk to Oka...Karin about. Alone."

"What the hell? Can't it wait till we get out?" Masuyo said.

"Ngggh." Yomiko gasped in pain.

"Okay im gone. I gotta get her out ASAP."Masuyo said as he dashed out of the performance hall.

"Thanks. You all don't mind do you?" Shinta asked.
"You'd better explain this clearly," Karin replied.

"STEFAN COME HELP ME!" Masuyo shouted from outside of the door. Rai was still standing near the door so he followed Masuyo and Stefan outside to where Reika was waiting

"...You sure it's a good idea to leave them here alone? Shinta's been acting funky, and the last time I brought someone here without a persona....Well, Yomiko can tell you about that." Stefan responded.

"You guys beat it," Reika said surprised, "Okay I'll be waiting at the exit for you guys."

"That was rather interesting," Rai said wondering about a couple things.

A piercing scream rang throughout the area, breaking the silence and alerting everyone.

"Oh what the hell now," Rai said turning around, "Probably another shadow."

"Aw shit! You were right stefan!" Masuyo said as he heard the shout. "Yomi, will you be okay for a little longer?" he said with a concerned look on his face.

"I'll be fine. Im better off with everyone than alone." she said as she smiled at Masuyo.

"Lets get back there then!" Masuyo said as he turned back

"Right," Rai said running ahead of the others back towards the concert hall, "Reika I am gonna need backup the others are tired from the battle."

"Alright I can see more clearly now that the other shadow is gone," Reika said through her ability.

"Rai. You can't handle that thing alone. ......Yomiko, take these, it's not as good as a good night's sleep, but they'll keep your energy up enough to not get yourself killed." He handed her a leaf. "....It's not a drug. It's a stimulant."

"Uh, im not very tired." Masuyo said to Rai rolling his eyes. "I got hit by a chair. Im not reika, so it wasnt fatal." he said remembering her shadow, and trying to seem strong infront of Yomiko.

"STIMULANT!? AS IN-"

"NO." Masuyo shouted at Yomiko, "They're just leaves you eat to feel good. I mean they make you more energetic. No that's not it! Look just eat them and it restores your strength. That probably doesn't sound much better but whatever."
