Digimon Digital Card Battle
Does anyone still have or even play this game? Digimon Digital Card Battle is still a great game to me and I get into random needs to play it for like a month. I am always redoing my deck and all lol I may post the decks I'm using if this topic gets a little bit of activity (even one person would do fine)

Re: Digimon Digital Card Battle
well we pick partners and the partners we pick are either Veemon, Hawkmon, or Armadillomon. Later on we get to pick two different partners along with the other two partner choices we get Patamon, Gatomon, or Wormmon...sooo if memory serves that means no...though we can get Worrmon's Mega Digivolution (highest they go to though is Ultimate sooo yeah)

d'aw. it came out before season 3. ah well, seasons 1 and 2 rocked too
Re: Digimon Digital Card Battle
Yeah it is still really good! When you pick your partner you get a deck of 30 cards (starting decks are kind of bad) every partner has two digi-eggs making them better, you get them as you go. Veemon is special, if you pick him first then when you beat BlackWarGreymon he'll give you Veemon's thrid Digi-egg. You are a human and you travel to the digimon arenas battling other digimon collecting other cards to build better decks. The types are:
Fire:High attack, low HP
Ice:High HP, low attack
Nature:Even stats high Digivolution Speed
Rare:Bad stats, interesting Support Effects
Dark:Rookies-weak, champions-strong, Ultimates-well ultimate lol
To go into Champions and Ultimates you need DP or Digivolution Speed, you can see how much each monster gives on the card and how much each champ and ultimate need. Most Rookies give 20 DP (most nature rookies give 30), most champs need 30-40 DP some need more i think the max i have seen is 50. Ultimates need 40-60 DP (note Mega Degimon are also Ultimates so WarGreymon is an Ultimate) You get to choose between three attacks. O is normallt strongest, Triangle is normally middle and X is normally weaknest though some digimon have an X ability (it'll say at the bottom of the attacks None or a certain abiliy lol) so X and O are normally the most used attacks
In battle you have the support phase where you use a card in your hand for certain reason. A lot of monsters have Support effects that add to your digimon for the attack, you also have Option cards. The digimon that have no support option would just be used to clear your hand a little. There are also Digivolution cards which you use to digivolve quicker. Best is Speed Digivolve allows you to Digivolve immediately to the next stage.
You can build decks to one color or mix it up I like one color myself and rarely have my partners in my decks anymore haha. Here are my decks
Frozen-Hell Deck
Speed Digivolve x2
Dark Lords Cape x2
Missle Pod x2
Beetle Diamond x2
Mega Hand x2
Gabumon x3
Gomamon x3
Otanamon x2
Gizamon x1
Penginmon x1
Garurumon x3
Sedramon x2
Hyogamon x1
Metal Garurumon x2
Were Garurumon x2
An offensive Ice Deck uses it's high HP and boosts it's attack a lot. Digimon's Supports are defensive adding a little more to the deck than normal.
Hungry-Hell Deck
Ultimate Digivolution x2
Dark Bone x4
Sup. Recovery Floppy x4
Tentomon x4
Palomon x3
Salomon x3
Togomon x3
Ninjamon x3
Rosemon x1
Lilymon x3
Every Digimon in this deck gives 30 DP and every Digimon needs 30 DP to Digivolve minus Rosemon. Ultimate Digivolution allows us to go from Rookie straight to Ultimate so it fits this deck. It is very defensive using Eat-Up-HP for good HP recovery.
Blaze-Hell Deck
Speed Digivolve x2
Cherrimon's Mist x2
Sup. Recovery Floppy x3
Dark Bone x3
Agumon x4
Biyomon x2
Muchomon x2
Candlemon x2
Birdramon x3
Apemon x2
Pidomon x1
WarGreymon x2
Paildramo x2
Big offense with defensive option cards. Pretty simple strategy here...
