Xbox live price is increasing November 1st

It's gonna be like this:

Year-60 bucks
Month- 10 bucks
3 Months- 25 bucks

They have a deal now though where you can buy a year for 40 bucks, and since you can stack live, im thinkin of just getting 2 years, and spending 80 on 2 years, as compared to 120 on 2 years.

yea seriously idk why they need to hike up the prices, plus its not like anyone can say anything without xbox live the xbox is completely useless since nowadays most games have a huge focus on online play then there are some games that are only online play.

Yeah, majority of things nowdays are online play focused. Hell look at Left4Dead. Unless you like bots, the game is completely worthless unless you play online

yeap even the major games like halo wouldnt be good, sure theres split screen but how many people have 4 players always at hand when they could have a team of random people to play with lol.

yeah, though for some reason lots of people love to complain about that too. Like, scott pilgrim vs the world is a great 4 player beat em up, but its local multiplayer only. Of course, a ton of people freaked out while others started arguing "Local Multiplayer is better because playing online with random people is HORRIBLE!" I can see where they come from since like 50% of the time you'll end up in a game with either some guy in his twenties or thirties who takes the game WAY to damn seriously, or a stupid 12 year old who shouldn't be playing M rated shooters to begin with (im looking at you left 4 dead). Unlike L4D and a few other games though, Scott Pilgrim having online wasnt make or break, it just would have been the cherry on top of the sundae of amazingness. Even if you play alone, its still awesome (and harder, which is more fun lol)

Why the hell, no wonder theres a rise in PS3 sales, since its online is free from what I understand right.

I already have to spend an extra 50 bucks probably a symseter for this shit cause I'm at school. This is lame.

They should be LOWERING the prices if anything. At the very least, keep the full year thing the same.

Of course, my friend always said that it was like paying for an extra game a year, which I suppose is true. Cause the price of games is on the rise. I had to spend 70 bucks on New Vegas to cover shipping and just the overall price of the damn thing.

But you cant pirate 360 or ps3 games. Well, you can pirate 360 games, but if they catch you your profile gets destroyed and banned from XBl, and thats not worth it. Now the Wii? well, Fuck nintendo, so Im not giving them a dime unless its something worth it (Like golden sun 3)
