3DS Tales of the Abyss!!!!

im insanely hyped up for this. This adds to my reasons for getting a 3DS

That's pretty cool actually. Now I think I might get the 3ds.

Then again, it is a handheld game, so there's bound to be an english patch for the inevitable rom.

It's just me, but I think it's kind of a waste of money to buy the same game on 2 different systems...Lol.

I am totally fine with this, I have Rebith PS2 and PSP, but this is awesome, maybe some glitch fixes?

If they add new content it'd be cool. Like they did with Vesperia and Graces.

Just fix all the glitches that made the game IMPOSSIBLE to play with Tear and Jade in the same party at the end of the game (if you're good with them).

Also yea, I have Destiny 2 PS2 and PSP version, Rebirth PSP and PS2, TOS GC and PS2, and Vesperia 360 and PS3 version, so either im retarded, or this is worth it.

Actually, I would even be kinda chill with them having Ricter/Marta/Emil appear in it somehow. Even though Emil wouldn't, cause he doesn't exist till the beginning of TOS2. I think. I never did understand that part.

Make it where I can play it anywhere, and dont remove anything (except Ymir forest, dont hold back guys, TAKE IT OUT.) and im set.

Yeah. So yeah. Fuck Emil. Just Marta. Though, you could have Ricter and Aster in Sybak. I would allow them to do that.

Also, they need to add another playable character to Abyss. I mean 6 works. But fuck Anise seriously.
Maybe another character would ruin the plot a bit, but eh.
Now I don't have to feel as bad that I only beat Abyss once. I'm actually gonna get a 3DS now. If it's localized of course.

Well, if vesperia taught us anything its that tales can add characters, and keep the story in tact. If anything i'd want ion as a playable mage, because I cant think of anything else unless they came with a new character completely like Patty. Probably making Asch a perma member is what they'd do. After you fight him on eldrant he and luke would waste all the knights together and he'd join, like how flynn joins after you waste all the monsters with him and repede

Ion might work, but he's supposed to be frail. But, it's not like we haven't had frail people in Tales games before.

But Ion would work well if they kept him alive. He'd work well as a mage. You'd have to change Asch up a bit though. Cause he was pretty much Luke. With more Magic.

Asch was just luke with magic. But it aggravated me that ion had super rape hi-ougi extension for luke, and you lose it cuz he dies. So you should be able to keep him alive, and he could be the 1st real mage Since every character in this game with magic are Hybrids. It would also give for the whole god general rival thing. Cuz it was

and it made no sense, guy has absolutely nothing to do with sync. So let ion live and let them have anger face off. AS REPLICAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSS

I agree. Let Ion live somehow, and make his testicles drop. Like he uses so much power that he has to regenerate his form, and he picks an actual MAN'S form.

Maybe I'm dreaming a bit too much. Ion as a pure mage would be fun. They would have to change Asch a lot. Or, they would have to change Guy a lot. Cause Guy is basically the Luke Alt. And having two alts wouldn't work as well.

You could have Asch be more like Zelos, where his strength is more magic, and then make guy more like Judith, where his strength is more speed and aerial attacks.

Tear was a fighter and a healer
Jade was a fighter and a mage
Make Ion a mage and a healer
I still can't tell what Natalia was. Ranged healing? I unno. Uselss really.

Natalia was amazing. she was support and healing. she learned the best buffs in the game. including a move that makes her not flinch when hurt for quite a while. I used natalia all the time. On top of that she has an infinite with star stroke with magic cancel

So I just found out that the 3ds is gonna cost 300 dollars.

.....Not feeling it so much anymore.

At the very least, I'm gonna wait for the price to drop. You can buy a Ps3 for that. And I intend to.

Still. I'm just gonna get it off amazon when it's up for used for 200 bucks.

This isn't gonna work out too well for Nintendo. They have like 4 formats of the DS. So people aren't too eager to buy this to begin with. The 3d stuff makes up for that, but that's going to make the games expensive since they gotta make that work for the device.

Plus 300 dollars is the cost of the Ps3. And it's more expensive than the other two consoles. Combined if you get a deal on them.

I won't say it'll flop, but it's not gonna do as well as they hope/think.

That, and considering they're track record with the DS, they'll make another version 3 months later and sell that for 300 bucks.

The benefit being that the 3ds will be cheaper. 250.

Starfox 64 remake
Ocarina of Time remake
Devil Survivor
Abyss
And then that other Persona title.

And then Wii:
........Golden Eye?
And gamecube compatability games. So I'll whip out the old Gamecube.

Man just the tweaks will make the game amazing.

I'm definitely getting a 3DS eventually...

Assuming this even gets released here, I'll still wait for you all to tell all thats new and wonderful. I have easy access to the PS2 game and don't really wanna get it if it's the same stuff ported.

This has a lot of potential to be awesome.
