*Pulls a great con.*
So I go over to my Dad's house today to see him over the break. For Christmas, he got my step-brother an Xbox 360. And since I was over today, my dad inquired my help in setting up his new TV, Cable box, blu-ray player etc etc.
When I get to setting up the 360 I spot: 'Free download for Alan Wake'. It was a game I wasn't really too interested in. But for free I would have gotten it.
That's when the gears started turning.
1. My dad's house doesn't have wireless. And I know my old man would be dammed if he ran an ethernet cable down to the basement just so my little brother could connect to XBL. So I doubt that they could have taken advantage of it anyway.
2. My step brother is 14. He's probably old enough to play it, but I used that excuse in my thought process.
3. Between Kinect, 360, L4D, new TV, etc etc. I doubt my little half brother would miss a piece of paper that offers a free download that he couldn't get for a game he's probably never heard of.
4. If he DID notice it missing, it could be passed off as my dad mistaking it for garbage.
Was this evil? Mildly so.
Should I have done it? Probably not.
Will I get Kharmatically punished for this? Probably.
Did I do it anyway?

BTW, it's downloading now.

I am not sure if I should applaud or not.
Though Alan Wake is a pretty awesome game so, heck why not.

Well, I doubt the brat would ever miss it. So I figured why not? I EARNED IT WITH MY SLEUTHING.
Maybe I'll give him Arkham Asylum as a gift to make it kharmatically even. Since I don't play it anymore, and he's probably into Batman.
If not, then he should be. Maybe my dad would even play it.

Re: *Pulls a great con.*
Perfectly good reasons. I wouldve done it if it were a game that interested me.
Re: *Pulls a great con.*
It interested me enough that I would take it if it were free.
So I did.

Lol.
Actually, after I thought about it, I was like: "I really should give this code to Kilvas, since she doesn't have many games for the 360, it's free, and this game is probably right up her alley."
But I had already put in the code. D:

Says the guy who said Assassin's Creed was right up my alley. XD
But Nah, it's fine. Thanks for the thought though.
What's it even about?

Re: *Pulls a great con.*
It's pretty much a steven king novel. It's a horror game with some minor FPS stuff.
