Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"Yeah," Karin said holding her hand out and materializing her card, "Persona!" She made a motion to swing her bat at it but was shocked to realize she did not have her bat with her. "What? Oh fuck."

"Oh jesus." Masuyo said. He would have laughed normally but given his mood at the moment that wasn't happening. "MOVE!" he said as he blasted shadows infront of him with fire.

Karin dodged the Shadows attacks until metal bat landed in front of her. She looked up to she what looked like Shinta waving from the box seat, "Raiha?" Suddenly another Shadow attacked her but she guarded with the bat. After fending him off she swung her bat on her card and a woman on a horse with two swords appeared and cut the Shadow into pieces. Karin looked back up but Shinta could not be found.

"The hell was that?" Masuyo said looking up at where the bat came from. He looked towards the stage and saw a figure lying on it. "YOMIKO!" he shouted as he began to run towards the stage

Karin desperately ran to the stage, "Yomi! Hang in there!"

Yomiko just lie there motionless.

"Shit!" Masuyo shouted. He leaned in closer to her face. ".....she's still breathing. I think she's just exhausted. Let's just get outta here." he said as he began to pick her up

Stefan found himself at the dungeon's entrance. "I can sense them for sure...but where's Shinta?" Stefan shrugged it off and ran into the dungeon.

"Can't let you do that."

Karin turned to she Shinta walking towards the stage. He now wore an open long black coat over his normal clothes, which were all darker than normal, "Sorry I'm late. I had to prepare a few things."

"Raiha...what are you..."

"Still you both are rather reckless," Shinta said looking at Karin, "Going in without your weapon? Seriously? And Masu, leaving the house like that? What would you have done if I had killed Sakuraba right there?"

"Reckless this, punk!" Stefan came from behind Shinta and punched him square in the jaw.

"Kh!" Masuyo grunted. "I wanted to believe that you wouldn't. I wanted to believe that this was just some sort of prank to mess with me or something." I should be ashamed. I didn't give Kentaro a single thought. "By the way, the fuck is with that pathetic get up? Its like you're trying to be Nagato from DemonSurvivor2 or something" he said pointing at Shinta's getup.

"What can I say? My kimono was in the wash," Shinta got up and rubbed his chin, "I must admit I'm a little surprised to see you here. Well, I guess it's. No, actually this is better. And by the way, this is very serious work I'm doing here. I'd rather yo not call it 'a prank.'"

"Just what are you doing here, Raiha?" Karin said apprehensive of his answer.

"Let's just say I'm conducting an experiment," Shinta replied, "What happens if a person who has gained a Persona is thrown into the same place where her Shadow appeared. We've never back tracked before so I'm interested in the results."

"For something like that you-"

"I know it's beyond your comprehension but Masu should know what this is about? After all something similar happened to him...and me a well."

"Nothing. Duh. We've already settled things with our shadows. Why would anything else happen? Geez and I thought you were smart." Masuyo said insultingly. "And seriously if you needed an experiment you shoulda used Kent-ugh." he cut himself off. "Damn it."

"....Masuyo. I'm good to go to take this guy down now and get answers later. Your call." Stefan raised his axe to Shinta.

Shinta sighed, "And of course your scope of understanding is as narrow as ever. We confronted our Shadows and gained great power from it. But why? What caused it? Can it be replicated with others? These are things I'd like to know among others. Think about it: We've come here countless times but we've never tried to understand anything. Are you happy like that? Just going day by day with no understanding of what your doing and why?"

"We're trying to stop people from getting hurt. That's all I want to do. ....You're trying to use this place to get power." Stefan gripped his axe tightly.

"So long as everyone I care about is safe then yeah! Why the hell should I care about this otherworldly shit? People aren't supposed to know anything about this anyways!" Masuyo shouted angrily. "What's your deal!? Tell us before the three of us beat you down so hard that nobody will recognize you at school in two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Such a shame," Shinta said with a down cast expression, "in the end you're noting but fools. Even if I told you at this point, nothing would change."

Karin raised an eyebrow and took a stance, "Tell us what?"

Shinta smirked, "...For starters, this place has a new owner." Out of ground a large Shadow in the shape of a wooden puppet appeared, in each hand was a cross connected to two human-sized puppets. One puppet had a large build and carried a claymore the other was thin and was armed with a bow and arrow.

"I assume it's because of the connection to the human mind but stray Shadows love to inhabit empty places like this."

"Hey.......we fought a wooden puppet the first time you got a persona." Masuyo said taken aback. "Are you kidding me? What the fuck would you do if we all flipped you off and left? Gonna just stay here since you're the "New owner"?

"Good question," Shinta said plainly, "Currently I want to see what happen when Asakura wakes up. After that I'll have no use for her. I'll probably move on to my next experiment. I think I'll go with 'Can an elderly woman survive the rigors of the world inside the TV?' What do you thi-" Shinta was cut off by Karin swinging her bat at him. He managed to catch the bat before it hit his face."

"That's. Not. Funny."

"No. But this is," Shinta grinned as he summoned his persona, which let out roar that disoriented the others long enough for Shinta to grab Yomiko and pull a gem from his pocket, "I'm so sorry, but I'm taking your Princess to another castle. Search the old warzone if you want to find her." The gem flashed and, Shinta, Lucifer and Yomiko disappeared, Shinta's voice echoing through the auditorium.

"If you can survive that is."

The thin puppet launched a volley of arrows at Masuyo and Karin while the large one charged at Stefan with its sword.

"Hell....."

"What!?" Karin shouted at Masuyo frantically.

"ILL SEND HIM TO HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Masuyo shouted as he burned straight through the arrows with fire then instantly reduced the thin puppet into ashes. "There wont be a single fucking trace left." he growled.

"H-hey.........don't strain yourself. We're still here!" Karin said as she went to back Stefan up against the puppet with the sword.

"I don't get what's making him do this,"Karin said as she summoned her Persona to block the Shadow's sword, "but I know one thing: that isn't Raiha. Not the one I know." She struck the puppet's back causing it to reel forward, which gave Stefan an opening to cut it in half. "There has to be a reason for this. Look out!" The puppeteer Shadow threw its crosses at the Masuyo and Karin before lying motionless. Karin barely dodged it while Masuyo simply burned it. Please, tell me there's a reason for this. I don't want to doubt you again.

After disposing of the shadows, Masuyo looked at the ground. "This isn't real. You've got to be kidding me." he began to ramble on. "I knew he was odd but......I never thought Shinta would be............could he be the one throwing people in? That cant be......we were with him when Kentaro was thrown in. I can't say the same for Stefan, and Stefan you led Yomiko here, and Karin followed us. What......what the fuck is going on!?!?!?!?!" he shouted

"I...I don't know," Karin said shaking, "I want to believe in him but, he's taken Yomi, he's using Shadows, and he's attacked us...but I still want to believe in him. But we can't just stay here. He said something about a warzone right? What did he mean?"

"The very first place we went to here." Masuyo said. "One of our friends who we saved from there was killed." he said shaking. "And the other is gone too....he may very well be dead too. That place is a bad omen for sure, and im not letting it take Yomiko's life too!" he said holding back tears. "Lets go!" he said as he pulled out the same gem Shinta used. "Hes not the only one finding items in this world" he said as it teleported them back to the entrance.

"Hmm, that was quicker than expected," Shinta said from a boat off the coast of the battlefield. He chuckled and turned to Yomiko, "You're going to have to wake up soon, I hope you don't disappoint me."

"So where is it?" Karin asked after she and the others appeared at the entrance.
