Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"Ooof!" Stefan yelped as he slammed into Karin. "H-hey! Are you alright?!"

"...Kill him," Karin said as she stood up, "I have to kill him! I HAVE TO!"

"Karin! Calm the fuck down!" Stefan yelled, holding her back.

"Let me go," Karin shouted struggling to get free, "You heard what he said. He just uses people and tosses them aside when he's done. Someone like him...someone like him...has no right to live. Or are you defending him? You two are similar after all."

"Karin...I regret what I did every day. I was similar to the old Shinta...the one I thought we knew..." He glares at Shinta. "Trust me, I want to pound this guy just as much as you do, but if you get too mad...he'll take advantage of that. For your own safety...calm down."

Karin took a deep breath before calmly replying, "I get it already. So lemme go."

"Thanks Stefan." Masuyo said due to Stefan blocking Shinta's attack. "Karin.Stefan. Tell me now. Are we trying to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to bring him back alive? Or will it just be convenient if we bring him back alive. He's willing to sell out anybody, put anyone's life in danger, hes made a living doing it, and aparently shows no signs of regretting it. I'll gladly trade his life for you two and Yomi, so unless you two tell me now, I'll have no problem killing him if you two look to be in grave danger."

"....Killing him would be unfortunate. We still don't know what his real goal is...Or what relation he has to the murders." Stefan released Karin. "I say we beat him within an inch of his life. Then get out answers."

Karin, now released from Stefan's grip, stepped forward with a determined look, "He's made his choice, if it comes down to it...then we'll do what we have to."

Shinta clapped slowly, "Bravo. Good speeches everyone."

"Yeah but he seems like the type who would be like "I wont tell you info because thats what you want and I'll be more pleased dying knowing that you all are still clueless." or some shit. The more im thinking about it the more pissed off im getting so you two do the thinking!" Masuyo said as he cast masukujaka on the group. "So much for your little super speed." Masuyo said as he instantly dashed up to Shinta and speared him in the gut with his head as hard as possible.

"Gnh, even so," Shinta jammed his knives into Masuyo's sides, "at this distance speed is irrelevant." Karin appeared behind Shinta swinging her bat as hard as she could. Shinta smirked and moved to block the attack with his knives, only to see that Masuyo was holding his hands and his knives in place at his sides, "What? No!" Karin's swing hit Shinta's ribs dead on and launched him to the side, making him drop his knives.

"Not yet!" Masuyo said as he froze the ground under shinta to make him slide on the ground. He then formed a mini-glacier that Shinta's had slammed into.

Clutching his head Shinta wobbly stood back up, "Damn you...LUCIFER!" The blue fallen angel appeared behind Shinta and slashed at the mini-glacier, shattering it into pieces and with a flap of its wings launched the fragments at Masuyo and the others.

"Valkyrie!" Karin's persona appeared and the twobega to swat at the shards tat came their way occasionally being knicked by a stray shot.

"Frost!" Masuyo shouted as he cast Agidyne after summoning black frost again melting the remaining shards.

"I really wish the water hit him." Masuyo started "So I could tell him hes ALL WASHED UP."

"Ongyo-ki!" Stefan appeared behind Shinta, his new persona appearing as well. "Vile assault!" Stefan and Ongyo-ki swung their weapons at Shinta and Lucifer respectively. "RAHHH!!!

"I see, so that's what it was!" Shinta said as he made a shield of ice to block Stefan's axe while Lucifer and Ongyo-Ki grappled. "I had wondered why you weren't using your Persona earlier. You had a clear shot but you went after Asakura instead. I wondered, 'Is he hiding something? Is he using Karin as a distraction?' But it looks like you were saving a trump card. Either way it won't be enough." Suddenly the polearm(?) Lucifer and Ongyo-Ki were holding began to freeze over. The ice crept to Ongyo-Ki's hands threatening to swallow his whole body.

"Think again." Stefan thrust his axe into Shinta's chest. "A persona is a persona, but the person is the way to defeat them. Maragi!" Ongyo-ki melted the ice off his blade. "You don't know the extent of my power. I am a guardian. You are scum." Stefan charged Shinta.

"Speaking of Trump cards!"

"No way!" Masuyo shouted. The door Yomiko was behind blew open from a powerful hurricane inside. The wind carried the door to slam into Shinta.

"Did you seriously think I would TELL the guy who is trying to get me killed "Oh hey, I got new powers. Be wary of me."" Yomiko said in an insulting tone.

"Yomi!" Masuyo shouted on the verge of tears seeing that she was indeed safe.

"Fight now. Talk later!" she shouted

"Gggh...," Shinta said slowly rising to his feet, blood trickling from his forehead, Not yet, I can't let it end like this. Because I... "...To think you all would come so far. You all really are something. I must admit I underestimated you."

"Got that right." Karin said proudly.

"Give up Shinta. Tell us what this is all about." He put the edge of his axe to his neck. "Or else."

"Yeah. You dont have any fucking chance at this rate." Masuyo said

Shinta chuckled, "I suppose knowing when to give up isn't a bad quality to have. Very well, since you've come this far I can give you a reward. As Stefan said earlier, I desire a means for more power, but that power is merely a means to an end."

"What do you mean?" Karin asked warily.

"I want to become more powerful than anyone or anything here. I want to free myself from this cycle of battles that we've been roped into. For too long we've let this world and whoever's using it take control of our lives, but once I find out exactly how this world, Shadows and Personas work, I can finally put an end to all of this."

"...And you're willing to put more lives at risk for that?" Stefan snarled. "We won't let you. We can find a way to stop these guys without doing shit like this."

Shinta calmly retorted, "Why are you complaining? If your life wasn't put at risk you'd have never obtained the power you have now. Or would you be happier as you were before? In fact I'd go as far as to say you three should be grateful. If Stefan never went into the TV then you two would have remained normal high school girls. You really should thank me."

"...Why should we thank you for that?" Karin asked hesitantly. Shinta said nothing, only smiled.

"Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike I said at the concert. I dont care. Im happier having this power to save people. Yeah, its tiring. Yeah its a pain in the ass. But if I can save innocents, then thats fine with me. Again, another thing I said, if we WERE still normal High Schoolers, we'd probably be dead at this point cause we'd be put in here WITHOUT any means of protection." Masuyo said spinning his Kendama around
