"Just leave her be." Masuyo said sitting down

"Er. Okay..." Stefan looked to the side as the boat moved forward. "Hmm..."

Karin asked, "What's up?"

"Nothing. Just thinking about everything that's happened so far...Up until this point, Shinta never really gave any inkling to this kind of action..And I dunno what was up with those mirrors either. Some kind of reflection of his inner conflict..." Stefan rubbed his head. "Ugh. This is giving me a headache."

"I can't say for sure," Karin put her hands behind her head, "anyway it's over now so there's no point thinking about it."

"..No it's not...He's still alive. And at any point he could turn on us again..." Stefan sighed. "...Nevermind, let's just get back home..."

"Y-yeah," Karin said looking down, "guess you're right. Sorry."

Masuyo continued to sit silently

They all sat in silence for the rest of the boat trip. When they reached shore, Stefan hoisted Shinta onto his back and began walking toward the entrance. "Ugh...It's starting to hit me now. At least we're going home..."

The group silently left the TV and returned to Shinta's house.

"............." Masuyo looked at Kentaro who was still out like a light

Yomiko merely let out a depressed sigh

"So what do we want to do here?" Stefan laid Shinta down on the floor, and stretched his back.

"I don't know." Masuyo said. "I thought he was really my friend. He was the only person who would talk to me really. And I called THAT guy my best friend and was proud of it. I've been being duped for the past 2 years? Thats.......this is too much. I cant shake the thought that hes gonna fuck us over again when he gets up or something. Damn it......" he said falling over.

"It doesn't matter anymore." Yomiko said kneeling down infront of Masuyo. "You've got us now. As dysfunctional as we are, we're still good friends right?" she said with a smile.

"Good god. For the one who was suddenly kidnapped you're taking this well. You're one hell of a woman." Masuyo said with a slight grin.

"Hehe. That so?"

"...You guys," Karin smiled, "you really are amazing, you know that?"

"Eh? What makes you say that?" Stefan was taken aback by the compliment.

Karin blushed, "I uh...just felt like saying it. Seeing you guys now just...makes me wanna say it. Like seeing what you have to deal with, but you can still smile and enjoy being with eachother. Sorry, was that weird?"

"Not at all." Stefan blushed a little as well. "Just kinda caught me off guard. I don't get compliments very often." Stefan stammered a bit. "Um, d-do you guys mind if I step out for a bit? I kinda want to visit the shrine..."

"Ok." Masuyo said. "Come back soon."

"Thanks." With that, Stefan headed out the door.

Karin slapped her forehead, "Crap! That's right! Grandma wanted me home before all this. I gotta go guys. See ya." She bolted out the door, nearly tripping over herself as she left.

"Er." Stefan moved aside as Karin ran past. "Heh. She seems to have gotten into good spirits quickly." He smiled. "Good. She deserves happiness.." He trailed off, thinking to himself, then shook his head. "What the hell am I thinking?" He began heading for the shrine.

"WAIT!" Masuyo shouted as he ran up to Stefan. "No more of this running around everywhere looking for you crap." he said handing him a phone. "That way you can communicate with us. It will show your phone number when you turn the phone on."

"Oh. Thanks." Stefan looked at the phone. "...I owe ya for it. I'll get money later, thanks!" Stefan began heading for the shrine.

"And with that." Masuyo said as he yawned. "Im going home."

"Sounds good." Yomiko said behind him. "Wait. Should we really leave Kentaro with Shinta?"

"Psh. He'll probably come a stabbin after us anyways when he gets up. Wait a sec." he said as he went inside of Shinta's house. He came out carrying Kentaro on his back.

"..........Lemme guess."

"Yep."

"You knwo you're pushing your luck right."

"You know we're the ONLY PEOPLE that live in that apartment!"

"Hey we need to make money!"

"YOUR AUNT IS FRIGGIN RICH! SO ARE YOUR PARENTS ON TOP OF THAT!"

"WELL.WELL.UH. FINE! But if he tries messing with any of us girls hes dead."

"Fine by me."

and with that the two went back to the apartment complex.
