Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"Im beginning to question if this was worth it." Masuyo said covering his face with his palm standing in the entrance of the 1st floor of the apartment complex. Nene,Tsubasa and Ms.Asakura were all yelling at him in unison, all different things so it was just all jumbled up. "WELL im sorry and all that other stuff that'll make you all stop yelling!" he said as he ran to the elevator.

"WAIT!" Nene shouted as the elevator shut in her face, with Masuyo grinning through the crack at her. "Cmon we'll beat him upstairs!" she said grabbing Yomiko and Tsubasa.

"O-okay!" Tsubasa and Yomiko said as they darted up the stairs.

"How dumb do they think I am?" Masuyo said outloud snickering in the elevator. He then hit the button for the 6th floor. "Why would I take it straight to my floor? They'll be waiting at the elevator, so I'll just get out, take the other stairs and sneak into my room!" he said feeling accomplished of himself.

"That stupid idiot thinks he can just come back without explaining anything!?" Nene shouted as she ran up the stairs.

"We-well he is living on his own. He can do what he-" Yomiko started as she collapsed on the stairs.

"Yomi-chan!" Tsubasa said as she kneeled over and shook her motionless body.

"Damn it. Fighting right after getting a new persona.......how stupid of me.........." thought Yomiko.

"Phew!" Karin dropped onto her bed and stared at the ceiling, "What a day." She thought back on the events inside the TV. Everything she saw and heard. "Aniki...what should I do? After what he said, after what he did...I honestly...GAH!" Karin stood up and turned on her CD Player, "No use bein' gloomy about it now, right? I mean what's done is done, right? All right! Just like yesterday I'm gonna sing my heart out!"

"Haha! Success!" Masuyo said as he slammed the door to his room. "How nice it is to be back!" he said jumping on the bed as he looked over on his night stand and saw the picture of everyone together at the concert. His arms were thrown around Shinta and Kentaro in a buddy like manner and he had a huge smile. ".........all of it was fake huh." he said sound gloomy. "Man I DO have shitty taste. Im looking all best friends-like with the two who could give a rip about people. Then again." he looked at Yomiko,Nene,Tsubasa and Karin all of whom were smiling in the picture, "im fine with them. even if they annoy the fuck outta me." he said laying back on his bed.

"Hey..." Stefan said as he approached the shrine, as if speaking to an otherworldly being. He walked up to the shrine. "...I don't know if you're out there, or if you can hear me, or if you even care...But thank you for everything. I know what I want to do with myself now, and I know what my purpose is...I'm going to protect this place. I'm going to protect these people....I will be a guardian of this shrine." Stefan smiled.

"Yip." Stefan looked to see the Fox, it's three children sitting next to him.

"......." Stefan looked at the fox, perfectly healthy. Noticing a few inches to the left of him, a strange orangy-yellow fluid.

"....." The fox stared at Stefan, blinking.

".....You mean...I cried...and I prayed....OVER YOUR FUCKING INDIGESTION?!?!" He screamed. "GAAHHHHH!!!" He lunged at the fox, who jumped out of the way, Stefan getting a facefull of dirt. Thanking the gods he didn't land in the Fox's vomit, he wiped his face off. "You know, you could have told me." HE glared.

"......" The fox stared back at him. It's children taking a similar position.

"...Well, it doesn't change how I feel." Stefan scoffed. He found himself smiling. "...Thanks."

"Yip!"

"Rain again huh. Yeesh. This is the 2nd night in a row." Masuyo said looking out of his window. "11 o'clock huh." he said flipping open his laptop to check the weather. "Rain tonight, and tomorrow night. Followed by fog. Hah! Good thing we nipped Kentaro in the bud!" he said victoriously. He opened his phone and pulled up Stefan's number and sent him a text. "Hey, come over."

"Looks pretty cloudy now." Stefan said. He felt his pants vibrate. "GAH!! O-oh. It's this thing." He pulled out the phone. "...Yeah, sure. It's gonna rain now anyway." He looked to the Fox. "You'll be alright?"

"...Yip."

"Good." He began heading over to Masuyo's

Karin looked out the window and sighed, "More rain, huh? This is depressing." She looked at her TV and then at her clock, "11...May as well try it out tonight."

"..." Stefan looked up in the sky as it rained on him. ".....Ah rain. My old nemesis." Spotting the road that Karin lived on, he wondered if he should check on her. "....Nah. She probably doesn't want to be bothered."

"Hmmm....." Masuyo said looking at a doujinshi. "Maybe I could just get a quick one before he shows up.......nah. Its one thing is Yomi catches me wanking, but a DUDE. nope." he said sliding the book back under his bed

As he sleeps off the effects of receiving a persona, Kentaro begins to dream…

“HmmmHmHmm…Hmm…HmmHmHmm” a woman’s voice hums a lullaby in the darkness. Kentaro opens his eyes and sees a beautiful woman with long light blonde hair and pale skin hovering next to him. She is dressed in black and has pointed ears.

“Wha— Who are you?” he says groggily.

“Leanan Sidhe, at your service. My, aren’t you a cutie? But that expression… Oh sweetie, something seems to be wrong with your heart. It feels so… so empty.”[i]

“What the hell are you talking about? Stop talking in riddles woman!”

[i]“Giggle. You’re frustrated by things you can’t understand. And the one thing you understand the least is your own heart, your ability to love which goes against the cold logic you place so much faith in.”

“And what of it? I study people because I admit I do not understand. And besides, what makes love so great? The people I have loved have always betrayed me. Instead I will approach relationships systematically until I am successful.”

“Giggle. Oh honey, if you keep lying to yourself like that I’ll turn back into a Shadow. It doesn’t have to be this way though. I can help you. I can fill that empty space in your heart and make you feel wonderful. I can make everything seem beautiful and inspiring. You can learn to love wholeheartedly.”

“… Can… can you really do that?”

“Giggle. You bet your pretty little head I can… All you have to do in return… is become mine…”

"Yeesh. Its already 11:30. The rain is getting harder too. Whats holdin him up?" Masuyo thought. maaaaaaaannnnn I could have so gotten through four doujins by now.

"Jesus it's comin' down hard," Karin said looking out the window, "just a little longer."

"Why am I doing this?" Stefan stood outside Karin's door. He hesitantly knocked on it, with the rain coming down hard on his hat.

Karin went to answer the door, "Coming!" Weird. Who would come this late? Just when I was gonna watch...hold on. Almost midnight. Raining. Just saved someone. I'm the next target! Karin went back to grab her bat and slowly moved for the door, Makes sense. I'm probably the weakest one out of all of us. But I won't go down without a fight. Karin quickly swung the door open and charged at Stefan with her bat.

"AHHH!!!" Stefan screamed loudly, cowering in fear.

"AHH!" Karin screamed and fell on her rear in response, "Ow...eh? Stefan? What're you doing here?"

"Er. S-sorry. I was just thinking, after everything that happened today, I wanted to make sure you were alright..." He said regaining his footing. "...I hope that's not how you greet everyone."

Karin put the bat behind her back and laughed sheepishly. She stood up and motioned inside, "Well no sense in you standing out in the rain. Wanna come in?"

"...Sure." Stefan smiled. "Just a sec." He sent a message to Masuyo, saying that he stopped by Karin's house. "Masuyo was expecting me, but your house was on the way and everything."

"I gotcha," Karin said making her way to the kitchen, "may as well make yourself comfortable, unless you wanna go out in this rain. You want somethin' to drink or some snacks?"

"Sure, if you don't mind." Stefan shook his hat at the door. "Thanks."

Karin handed Stefan a towel and smiled, "Don't mention it."

"Oh. Er. Thanks again." Stefan rubbed his hair with the towel. "Sorry for stopping by out of the blue."

"No worries," Karin replied, "Grandma's asleep and I wasn't doing anything special. To be honest I'm just waiting until midnight to see what the TV looks like."

"Ah yeah. Hopefully there's no one on. I wouldn't want it to kill the mood...Er. Well, I mean..." He blushed a little. "Well, it's been a rough enough day as is. I wouldn't want anything ELSE bad to happen..."
