Persona 4 RP Story/Dungeon

"NNNGAAAAA!" Shinta clutched his head as he screamed, "This ain't normal. This ain't natural. What in the hell is goin' on?"

"What the hell....IS this place?" Masuyo said squinting. "I can barely see because of all this god damn fog!"
"Oh no......." said a voice in a building a few meters down. "You can barely see because you've been clouding your mind with your selfish retarded thoughts!" it shouted.

"What the........that guy almost sounded like me." Masuyo said as he slowly, yet fearfully approached the building.
"Where? Where do i KNOW this place from?" he kept trying to fish it out of his sea of memories in his mind.

"Why dont you come in and find out???" said the voice.

"....are you kidding me? Do you know how RETARDED that sounds?" Masuyo said laughing at the voice. "Why the fuck would I go into a creepy building, with some guy trying to sound like hes me?"

"TRYING? Oh nonononono Mito-chan" the voice said from inside the building. Hearing that name brought a sharp pain to Masuyo's heart. "I cant really try to be you when I am you y'know??" it said taunting him

"Why the hell......did he use THAT name?" Masuyo said angrily. "OF ALL THE NAMES, WHY THAT ONE? THOSE TWO WORDS WHEN I.......WHEN I........" he couldnt bring himself to finish his sentence.

"Oh......did i strike a nerve? Well thats not very hard to do since im you and all, but, yeah. I know why you hate those words. Why they fill you with despair,fear,and rage. Its because-" the voice started

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Masuyo shouted as he dashed into the building with complete blind rage. "Wait.......what? No. NO. NONONONONONONONONONONO!!" Masuyo shouted as he looked around the room. "THIS....THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE. WHY? WHY IS THIS ROOM HERE?" Masuyo stumbled back into a pasty white colored wall which shook the shelf next to it. A case of operating tools fell down infront of him and on his lap. "!!!!!!!" Masuyo vomited and began to tremble mindlessly at the sight of them.

Rai landed on his back to lessen damage from the fall, "Where the hell am I." he said looking around, it was a barren train station with lots of fog, "This is odd, wait..." he felt his pocket there was a key there the one Igor gave him, then he gazed around, the fog lessened a bit giving him some clairvoyance for a moment, he heard what sounded like Masuyo's voice and the feeling of panic. His head throbbed for a moment, he felt a voice call him from deep within him, "Mazu," he cursed, "I'm need to follow that voice," he closed his eyes and sensed the voice in the distance, "Okay," he dashed in the direction of the voice, "Where is this," he took in what looked like a some kind of building surrounded by other buildings but the fog's pulsing caused issues. "Okay which one." he examined each building carefully, hoping for more noise.

Masuyo laid silently on the ground in shock of knowing what this room we went into was.

"AHAHHAhAHAH! WHAT A PUSSY!" the other him shouted. "It almost makes me SICK to be you!"

"......ot......me."

"Hmm? What was that? I couldn't hear ya. SPEAK UP you LITTLE BITCH!

"You..........me.......we're not the same. WE'RE NOTHING ALIKE!" Masuyo shouted.

The other him began to chuckle as he grew darker and darker........

"There!" Rai ran into the room not knowing what he was getting into, as soon as he entered the room was a pasty white, almost an eerie feeling. "What...." he looked back and forth, there were two Masuyo's, one normal looking, the other glowing other worldly eyes and a black aura coming off it, "What the heck's going on here." Rai said feeling that whatever was happening was very bad.

"Whats going on Mr.Hero?" other Masuyo said to Rai. "Well, this little bitch here keeps denying that im him. Its nice for us shadows when that happens. Because........it means-" he started to say as he began to morph into some monstrosity. It looked like an operating table with a lifeless Masuyo strapped to it with multiple syringes coming from the table containing some sort of powdery drug. "I GET TO BE MYSELF FINALLY! INSTEAD OF A BITCH LIKE MITO-CHAN!"

".....stop.............dont call me that. STOP CALLING ME THAT. HE DIED 3 YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!" Masuyo shouted.

"Well duh. Of course I knew that. As i've been trying to hammer into your mind, I AM YOU. Well, I was. But hey! It doesn't matter anymore. Because YOU TWO ARE DEAD! And this time Mito-chan, there ain't a doctor here to save ya!" the shadow shouted as it bashed Masuyo into the wall with one of the syringes and knocked him unconscious.

The throbbing of the headache returned fiercer this time, and a voice spoke inside of Rai's head, "I am Thou, Thou art I, accept me as your guide on the path of fate!" The headache began to fade and a card appeared in Rai's hand, it was blank at first but then an image began to form, "Heh," Rai began to smile as he felt a wave of calmness come over him and he gained new sight, aura began to radiate off him and flames sprung to life around him, "Pe-r-so-NA!" Rai's eyes glowed as he summoned the power of his soul and he smashed the card in his hand, a dragon began to emerge from his body and form around him filling a large amount of the room. "Kohryu!" Rai shouted as he felt the being identify itself inside him. He smiled as he looked at the freakish monster.

"Eh? What the hell is that!?" the shadow monster shouted. "Doesnt matter I guess, cuz you're dead!" it yelled as it shot 3 syringes at Rai

"Heh," Rai laughed as he dogded the syringes by pushing himself back with his staff, "Ziodyne!" Rai tossed the card into the air and cut his hand through it summoning Kohryu from his soul. A mass group of lightning bolts began to close in on the Shadow Masuyo.

"Oh sonuva-" the shadow started as it got into a defensive stance

Rai grinned as he watched as the monster was striken by the lightning bolts it didn't do as much damage as he was hoping, but it prepared for it. "Hmm." he stood back and prepared for what might come his way next.

"Hey........you'd better be careful. Or you'll get hurt kid!" the shadow shouted as it slammed 2 defibrillators onto the ground sending a wave of electricity at Rai

Rai backed off in an attempt to avoid the attack he was lightly shocked and he sensed that his Persona had taken some of the blow from him, "Thanks." He rounded back and summoned Kohryu, while carefully watching the shadow, "Mind Charge!" he felt his power begin to build as he focused for a single powerful attack.

"Im not gonna let you do whatever the hell you have up your sleeve you got that!?" the shadow shouted as the needles on the syringe doubled in length and he shot them all towards Rai

Rai jumped back and began blocked the syringe's needles with his staff, noting that one of the needles had clipped his right pant leg, "Hmm, not good," he began to think of an option for him, he couldn't focus anymore but it was expecting an attack, "Ziodyne!" he threw his card into the air and cut his hand through it again. Lightning began to lash towards the shadow at a high rate.

"Wha-how the hell are you able to attack while im attacking you at full force!? THIS CANT HAPPEN!" the shadow yelled as it was obliterated by the lightning

"Your relying too much on your power and not focusing it very well, where I balance it perfectly between defensive and offensive." Rai laughed as he prepared for the worst.

"This is impossible. There's no way.......a little bastard like you..........COULD BEAT ME!" the shadow shouted as it fell over and returned to its original form

Rai sighed as he looked over at the normal Masuyo, "You alright?" he said walking over and offering a hand still keeping an eye on the shadow.

"........yeah." Masuyo said as he grabbed Rai's hand. He then looked over at the shadow. "............*sigh* he was right. He did know everything about me......all the dark thoughts and emotions I didnt want to accept or show to anyone." he said ashamed. He then turned to Rai and said "What it said was true. I died in this hospital room three years ago, and as I died, the only thing I could hear were numerous voices yelling "MITO-CHAN!!!" desperately hoping i'd cling to life. It made me happy that they cared but............not a single voice was that of my parents'. The only reason I even made it to the hospital was because I passed out outside of my house while I was taking out the trash, and someone drove by and saw me collapsed. My parents didnt even know. They didnt care either. It was their fault I was sent here." he said beginning to get angry, while trying to hold back tears. "Those two, were drug addicts. Always high, always stoned. Always something unfit of a parent. I got sent here because I was looking for the sugar to cook with, because NEITHER of them cooked. I took care of them. I did the cleaning, the cooking, everything. I found a bag of something that resembled sugar, and I put it in the pastry I was baking. It turned out it was a whole cup of cocane. And I ate it all later. When I was dying in the hospital, I began thinking "Those fuckers. its THEIR fault im here! Its THEIR fault im dying. I didnt do ANYTHING to deserve this! WHY ME? WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN THOSE TWO? THEY'RE THE ONES WHO DESERVED TO DIE. NOT ME!!"

"I kept shouting that to myself in my mind untill I flat lined. I dunno how, but they brought me back. I guess they defibrillatored me or something. All I knew was, as soon as I was let out of the hospial 2 weeks later, without a single visit from my parents, I went home, grabbed all my clothes and money, and left. They probably dont even know. They were pathetic. Worthless scum who deserved to die. I kept telling myself that, but somewhere inside me knew it was wrong to think of my parents like that, despite their neglect. In truth, im the pathetic worthless one. I just ran away from my troubles. My life improved of course, but I left them to rot. I should have been there for them. Maybe I could have helped them with their addiction? Maybe I could have gotten them jobs at junes. I could have, and SHOULD have done SOMETHING. But in turn, i did NOTHING but run away. It made me sick everytime I would see a child happy with their parents." Masuyo said as he faces his shadow. "You knew all of this, and its not like we were neglected enough already, but I shut you out and neglected you too. It must have been painful. I know it would hurt me. Im sorry.........." he said as his shadow nodded and transformed into a card with a picture of a miniature snowman like creaure with a blue hat and scarf.

"Heh........so.........is this my......"Persona" you called it Rai? Awesome." Masuyo said as he fell over.

"Heck we can't have this," Rai caught him as he fell, "Okay the rope should be," he grabbed that was where the rope had been but it was gone, "Shit, hmm now what," he pulled Masuyo on to his shoulder and began to carry him towards where he had came in at, "You know that's quite a past you have, still its unfortunate that your parents couldn't of seen how far you've come nor could they take the responsibility they had as parents to care for their own child, well its in the past, maybe you can make amends later, so nothing to worry about or drone on over." he sighed as he talked to himself. "Right where is that convenient door that says exit." he laughed as he looked around the desolate train station, "Igor you there?" Rai shouted in hopes of help

"Who.......the heck are you talking to rai?" Masuyo said, though it seemed as if it took all his strength to do so

"Some old man I met when I entered where ever here is." Rai said setting Masuyo down on a bench, Rai sighed as he looked around and he pulled out the key to the Velvet Room. He looked up to see a woman standing before them the one that was with Igor, "So what's your name?" Rai said as he observed her.

"I am Margaret, my master has sent me to assist you in leaving the Shadow's dimension." she said plainly, "The two of you have awakened to the power of Persona, your true self, the facade that will help you face the world." she paused.

"So Shadow's dimension, that means there are more of those things like what I just fought?" Rai said maintaining eye contact with Margaret.

"Yes, now the matter of exiting should be simple for you, you have obtained your Persona's so you should be able to summon the entrance that you came through to get here, I must depart now." she began to walk off, "We will meet again Natsuyama, when my master bids it." and with that she vanished into the fog.

"Summon the entrance that we came through? All i can envision are TVs when I think of that" Masuyo said scratching his head. "But.........im seriously pooped. Sorry Rai. I cant do anything right now" he said gloomy

"Well worth a shot," Rai pulled out his card, "Kohryu," he called on his persona and started to try and sense for the entrance. "Hmm this could be it." he said as he released Kohryu, "Here," he moved his hand vertically in front of him and a TV appeared in front of them that was large enough for them to fit in, "Ticket out." Rai said as he turned to look at Masuyo.
