So yeah, PS3 graces was announced as "Tales of Graces F (future) "

Its the original wii game, with more story after the end of the wii graces story. It seems to focus even more on sophie than wii graces did (like, she seems like she's the new main character with just asbel at her side)

Aparently people have claimed to see screenshots with an artes list that shows Richard in the party with Hubert at the same time, meaning he may get a Flynn treatment and be fully playable at some point (Probably in the F storyline)

Asbel and Sophie have been shown to have new Mystic Artes (and sophie gets Dymlos and Atwight, the swords of the hero and heroine from tales of destiny holy fuck yea in her new mystic arte)

Yeah thats kind of saddening. I was happy that the wii had a GOOD tales title to rep it. But not anymore since the COMPLETELY REGION FREE AND BETTER GRAPHICS AND MORE CONTENT PS3 version exists now. Man, and PS3 vesperia came out winter too. Ah well, region free=easier to import. Im preordering this baby the day its available to do so since tales is popular in japan, so I dont wanna have to wait for restock lol. That and they usually have nice preorder bonuses

Really? I'd prefer the extremely small chance that they remake the game and we have a very slim chance of getting that, as opposed to them localizing the extremely buggy inferior version.

I think we should go by what I said on Gfaqs.

If its not on a sony system to begin with,and is a console, not portable game, its a beta and will be remade with a bunch of additions.

Tales of Phantasia-Started on SNES. Ported to GBA(sucked) PS1(amazing) and PSP(amazinger). It was also just remade a week ago as "Tales of Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon X" for the PSP which has 2 games in one. Phantasia with new characters/battle system and Narikiri dungeon X

Tales of Symphonia-Started on Gamecube. Ported to PS2. All characters were given hi ougis, extra costumes (biker Sheena and Zelos fuck yea) and longer EX dungeon with a 3 on 3 boss battle against Mithos Kratos and Yuan at the end.

Tales of Vesperia-XBox360. Ported to PS3 with TWO new full characters, 3 extra dungeons, tons of new bosses, cameo characters from the ToV movie and an ASSLOAD of extra content/cameo costumes and the game is fully voiced.

Tales of Graces-Wii. Ported to PS3 with afterstory content, better graphics, and the possibility of Richard being a full party member. Probably even more stuff, but hey, the game was just announced.

Also, yeah thers TOS2, but no one wants that shit ported. No amount of extra content will fix it. the game itself needs to be remade from scratch to be a true TOS2.

Hell, the already sony ones got upgrades. Destiny 2,Rebirth were PS2 games, and they got PSP ports with new stuffs. Eternia was PS1 and got a PSP port also. Destiny was ps1, and got 2 PS2 remakes(with the story from a different character's POV)

Now im just waiting for "Tales of Innocence/Hearts" remake for the 3DS. Then namco will have fully completed jacking off and blowing their load on our faces.

I wouldn't care if they didn't localize the Wii version if they localized the Ps3 one. I've been meaning to get one, and even if I didn't, my sister has a Ps3, and she says if I really want to, I can use it when she's not around.

And there's no harm in making extra content for Sony consoles. Like, the symphonia Ps2 added new stuff, and I would have still bought it for Ps2 if it was localized, however, it didn't add:

-Extensive new story.
-New Playable Characters
-New dungeons and bosses

I feel like what they did with Vesperia and Graces was pretty insulting to the other console owning fans. And even the ones who DO own a Ps3. "Oh cool, I have this brand new Tales game for 360. WAIT WHAT?! A NEW 60 DOLLAR GAME REMAKE FOR THE PS3 WITH BOATLOADS OF NEW FEATURES?! WHAT THE FUCK?!" And then they're forced to buy the game twice to get all the real content.

It's one thing to ADD new content. Like what they did with Symphonia. But with Vesperia and Graces, they TOOK OUT content from the first versions, and then released them again with upgrades. This is what we call an EXPANSION PACK. Also, I'd imagine this could annoy the PS3 owners too, cause they have to wait an extra year or so to get their game.

So Tales Inc collectively pisses off every single gaming platform. This is why they're going bankrupt. Gamers are fickle and have anger management issues.

And the only thing that could help Ratatosk would be to delete the game from existence.

Yeeeahhhhhh no. Took out content? Not in the least. They actually IMPROVED the already existing content from the 360 beta version, like adding more areas in the 360 dungeons, adding new bosses in the dungeons, new cutscenes, new skits, new treasure etc etc.

How? If someone owned a ps3 only and a tales game came out and they're like "Aw i cant get it cuz its on the xbox 360 or the nintendo suck." and then later on they hear "THAT GAME YOU WANTED IS COMMIN TO THE PS3, WITH 500 MILLION NEW THINGS." im pretty sure they'd be excited. That and even if they owned Graces and Vesperia beta, they added so much to the PS3 versions, that it IS worth the 60 bucks. ESPECIALLY with Graces, which had tons of bugs that would render the game unplayable/beatable. Gonna have to shell out some cash to be a sane gamer.

Also, Americans always complain about "IF YER GONNA LIVE IN AMERICA, LEARN THE FUCKING LANGUAGE!!!!" and shit. Well, if you guys are gonna play games originated in Japan, i'd advise you take 2 whole months of your lives to learn some basic japanese, so then, EVEN YOU! YES! YOU! Can play these games you all complain for so badly, but aren't putting any effort whatsoever into enabling yourselves to be able to play. Makes life tons easier. 's why i did this back in 9th grade. Gaming was lots simpler thanks to that

If you dont have a ps3 to begin with, then why bother whining about a port? Just be happy with what you have. But if you're(people in general) are gonna whine about games being japan only, AND the costs, well then I'd rather spend my time laughing at you than trying to help. I won't MIND getting a ps3 if it's localized. My issue with it, is that there's no legal way to get the game. I would have to bend over backwards to get it to start, and then learn the language to boot. It puts me at risk (Minor as it may be) and it forces me to go through a lot of effort of learning the language, when it would just be more beneficial for everyone if they would just localize the game.

It's a poor business strategy on Tales Inc's part. You may ask why should I care about that, and here's why: If they go out of business, no more tales games, period.

And, I have to take a foreign language class for College, and I was planning on taking the offered Japanese course when it becomes available. However, I still need to break the law in order to get the game. And I need to hack my Ps3 or Wii, which then, if the console breaks beyond the capacity for anyone I know to fix it, I'm screwed and have to get a new wii, hack it again, and regain all of my progress.

Also, I COULD take some time outside of school to learn Japanese, but that takes a LOT of time that I don't really have between work, school, and playing video games that ARE localized. And I'm not sure I want to go through ALL that effort over one game. Mind you, at this rate it's going to be a great number of games. But still, that's a lot of money, a lot of effort, a lot of time, which I may have to forgo doing all that, so I can focus on real life stuff.

OR they could just localize the games.
